I read Dr. Weil's book he talked about Omega 3's and how we don't get it in the food we eat anymore. Turns out when we ate beef in the old day and chicken they were full of Omega 3's because they grazed in the fields for food and the grass's they ate were full of Omega 3's so in the old days we did get a lot of Omega 3 in the food.JCMC64 said:According to allot of research I did in this area (feel free to offer opposite viewpoint) It's 4-6 grams of EPA\DHA needed for fat loss, not just 4- 6 grams fish oil. There are many, many variables that go into fat loss ...obviously. But, this regimen plus eating a very clean, hi protien diet, Cardio 4 times a week, (plus my normal weight training) reduced my body fat 8% in 3 months...I do have other health concerns limiting my success, so I believe results would be even better in a healthy person. (this was done with no "Fat Loss" OTC supps).
However, common sense is just screaming at me -- how the hell did any individual in past civilizations get that much EPA\DHA daily from food alone!!!!!!!! SO, maybe the Fish Oil Supp P.R.\promotion groups hidden somewhere are really behind this!!![]()
