My Sesathin log

there is just no substitute for exercise. One medical researcher told me that if you were to lump all the deseases known to mankind, physical and mental, and all the interventions available for them in one multiple regression equation, exercise accounts for 60% of the variance.

My exercise through out this journal has included weighlifting and some yoga. It is by my past lifestyle standard minimal. If I just walked 3-4 times a weeks for 45-60 minutes per episode that results would more dramatic.

Your supplement choices are all good. If you are having trouble staying focused on exercise, consider the use of a trainer for a month. Many of my friends have found this a useful start.

Your comments are soo true... actually when I was working out regularly the most positive mental and emotional influence was the fact that I was in a MMA(Mixed Martial Arts) class 4x a week with regularly scheduled classes... like having a support group :-)

I am going to start a light program this week and try to gradually get myself into a routine.

thanks for nudge! I got on the scale last night and the weight was 236 and the bf% was 25. This last week I got back to the gym on schedule. My life has been chock full of activity. Major disputes with my practice partner over lease--had to take the last offer to an attorney. My dad was back in the hospital and had to have his pace maker replaced. As luck would have it, I got a call Monday morning before going to my office saying that he'd been taken to the hospital. My first patient that day was a hospitalist who told me to have the pacemaker checked. He was right. :) Medtronics sent a rep to interview my dad yesterday.

Anyhow, I took the sesathin once or twice per day--less than recommended--I just plain forgot.:( It does surprise me that my vascularity continues to emerge even at 25 %. While I had many things on my mind, my good wife found ways of keeping my priorities straight.;)

Ran out of the sesathin a week or so ago. Figured I'd bring this log to a close. I lost weight, dropped bodyfat, and kept my libido. About two weeks ago, my father went into another health crisis. Since then, I've moved him into a really good nursing home, closed his apartment, disposed of most of his belongings, and taken control of his finances. While he is in hospice care, he does appear to be making a rally. Needless to say, many of my routine acitivities, including regular meals, trips to the gym have become irregular. Once things settle, I'll get back on track.

I really do think highly of the sesathin. I wish I had some some lipid levels during the trial. My hormone levels are all good. I just wanted to study the effects on my own cholesterol. I feel good enough about the products that I will buy some and pick up on my bodyfat reduction where I left off. Yesterday, I had my knees reshot with synvisc so I will be putting aerobics back into my program.

Last week, Dad died. It was peaceful and painless. I have been more than busy with his finances, funeral, and family affairs. The gym and my nutrition plan all fell apart. After a week off to recoup, I will reassess and take a new baseline. My knees are recovering nicely.
