NAD homebrew?

I did. made a 10ml vial at 50mg/ml (low concentration for first attempt) and it's been working nice. gives me a bit of a boost.

First attempt I added the naoh solution too much too fast and it turned yellow (oxidized), second attemp added tiny drops very slowly until it dissolved completely. I have it at a ph around 6.
No PIP and seems to be working.

for the NaOH solution I just dissolved 1.5grams of Naoh pellets into 3ml of sterile water and filtered it into a clean vial.
it dissolved very easily and I just had to stir with a glass rod. be very carefull if you make it because Naoh is so alkaline it causes chemical burns and when it comes to contact with water it boils at first

Did a first attempt testing this method. I used a magnetic stirrer and a dropper to add 1 drop at a time of NaOH solution. After the 2nd or 3rd drop there was a flash of yellow color for a split second. All of the NAD+ dissolved and the PH tested at 6.6 - 6.8.

Would the flash of yellow that cleared within a split second mean it oxidized and was ruined?
