Posted something like don't order from this source and that was enough.

Sounds like @naps got butthurt and complained. They keep spamming their fucking thread with nonsense and made up fairy tale bullshit.

O wait it's not technically spamming because it's a slightly different message every time

It's crazy to me that probably one of the people that cares the most about members is getting banned for hating on sources on a harm reduction board.

Fuck me, maybe this is a source board.... now I gotta figure out which vendor gets my first G2G

It's been heading towards becoming a source board for awhile now it was just more uncensored then the rest.

Always enjoy reading the thoughts of BBBG. However I also completely understand @Millard has no choice than to be consistent and just.

Sucks for me and the board. We will survive though. We will grow and I honestly believe BBBG will be back and even more revered when he comes back. Millard held to principles and again has shown why we all trust him. As he is consistent and balanced. Even in moments when I do not want him to be, and that is leading.

@naps Doubt you will win much from this. I was unsure of you, now I think I know. I will not order from you or ever suggest someone do so.

He was banned for violating the rules. It was very clear-cut in both cases. The real bullshit is the lack of respect for this platform and its very minimal and simple rules by numerous members.

It is extremely disappointing to see the lack of support for a forum with principled moderation that applies the rules equally to everyone. You'd think a forum where no one receives special treatment would be something worth defending.

Members have asked sources practically daily for years to post pictures and lab reports of their products. And sources have complied to varying degrees for years as well.

The content of each of the posts include different original photos of the products. There is no technicality. This is not spam unless we want to consider every photo posted by every source spam. The same rules apply to everyone. This shouldn't be that difficult to comprehend.

To be clear, you are completely wrong. No one has every been "banned for hating on sources". Anyone must be willfully ignorant to reach this conclusion just after casually browsing the underground. The hating on sources is ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE.

This is no more a source board today than it was 5 years ago or even 10 years ago. Essentially the same rules are in place. And people are being banned for violating them.

third, he’s spamming the fuck out of his own thread by intentionally posting tons of “reviews” for the sake of keeping his thread relevant and on top. Within the first 24 hours of that thread being open, there were SEVERAL posts, none of which posted anything other than reviews with feels and good to go. There was nothing of substance in any of those posts.

First of all MESO is not a source board. It is not a source board no matter how badly some members want it to be.

That is, MESO does not pick and choose who is allowed to participate. Some forums only allow paid sources to participate; others claim to only allow "good" sources to participate.

For better or worse, MESO allows ALL sources to participate - the good, the bad, the shitty. The reason is that the goal of MESO is to hold ALL SOURCES accountable.

So, yeah, the "shitty dues" will always be around but MESO exists to hold them accountable.
