anyone know when the first playoff games start. i was trying to find a playoff schedule but couldnt find one.
go T-Wolves!

Not sure when the T-Wolves start. Mavs/Kings tip off Sunday at 2:30 Central. Make sure you are by the channel and avoid caffeine because you will be going nuts watching these two teams go back and forth

I love it when they meet!

wow, a playoff thread and noone has mentioned the upcoming knicks vs. nets series. I happen to be a die hard knicks fan, but in all reality I think they will beat the nets in the first round. Besides that, nobody is touching detroit in the East.
As far as the west goes I would like to see minnesota get to the finals, but the fact is the lakers have the potential to be unstoppable with 4 future hall of famers.

wisdom, that should be a great series. I picked it as my most likely upset. I just hate all new york teams and the eastern conference

with the exception of the pistons now, the East is like a minor league compared to the top teams in the West. Games start with Boston VS. Indiana tomorrow at 2 on ESPN. Knicks/Nets at 4:30.

Massive,

The Wolves begin their series on Sunday not Wednesday. Game time is 830 central.

Whose going to come out on top in the NBA is too hard to tell, but I do know that its going to be a western conference team. There is too much potential in all the western conference. Every team has a chance to take it, even the 8th seed Denver Nuggets. Its going to be fun to watch, but my predictions are Either Minnesota or Lakers. Seeing if both can get past the 1st round. Minnesota has never been past the 1st round of the playoffs in franchise history, but they never had a team like they do now. Cassel, Sprewell and Garnett are a scary trio. As for the Lakers, they are playing Houston. A team which they split the regular season with. Yao is the only center in the NBA who can stop shaq and he scores an average of 20+ points and 10+ rebounds against him. Thats impressive for anyone going up against Shaq. The Lakers have also been inconsitent, but they do have the most impressive roster ever assembled besides the U.S. Olympic Dream Team of 1992 with Jordan, Drexler, Bird, etc..... It will be an interesting series. As for the Eastern Conference, they aren't going anywhere. Yes they do have a couple good teams, Indiana and Detroit. Besides those two, east is pretty much cattle for the slaughter house. No offense to anyone, but its more than obvious. Both Indiana and Detroit do not stand a chance in the finals unless one of the bottem teams makes it out of the west. Indy and Detroit are talented teams, but they will fall to the West.

what the east have going for them is the fact the west will beat the shit out of each other. Than a couple of key injuries and the east will have a chance.
