need a lil help

Turned on my lap top today and the images on the screen are just all over the place.You cant read anything at all.I put thte product recovery disc in but hell I still cant read anything to follow the prompts.Tried to start in safe mode too but I get the same thing.Any ideas?

I've been looking at some troubleshooting sites but the thing is I cant even log on at all.It starts out all garbled up as soon as you turn the damn thing on.Very frustrating.

Nope the only thing that has happened is my son played some on line games last night.

well i am assuming its an LCD screen on the laptop that is fucked up.....try hooking up a regular monitor to it (17",19" crt) and see what happens.....if everything looks fine on the other monitor, then it could very well be the LCD

You may want to try reseting your pixels if you can get the monitor to work. Sometimes Direct X will mess with your settings. Sounds like that may be the problem.
