if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and “looks” like a duck why do some insist it’s
a hippopotamus!

Yeah its getting that way Jim but once we rule prolactin out, we can work on getting him into therapy and fix those floppy boners.

Hint: those who’s ED is the result of HYPERPROLACTINEMIA rarely if ever have NORMAL TT values, esp in the HIGH NORMAL RANGE.

But wait Doc —— can you “check” my PROGESTERONE level.

ITS A DUCK!

Hyperprolactinemia will negatively affect test levels? I didn't know. I figured it was far removed from the test/estro balancing act.

A rising Prolactin INHIBITS the release of GnRH — which causes LH levels to fall and with THAT
a decline in testosterone levels.

In addition estrogen production by the adrenal cortex continues unabated which further suppresses gonadotropin production.

The net effect of hyperprolactimemia in males is often an TT:E-2 reversal, which may result in GALACTORRHEA, ED and GCM IF the condition continues unabated.

Finally the GCM in HP patients is the result of HIGH estrogen, rather than an elevated PRL level.

I’ve been reading a lot about caber being good for erections even if my problem is psychologically enduced , caber has been shown to treat that significantly well. Opinions ?

Oh and I’m not the least bit surprised upon reading your initial post the pursuit of an organic etiology, as in “hormonal dysfunction”, would persist in spite of contrary commentary.

Nonetheless I listed my post for those on this forum (and there are MANY) whom may be confronting similar issues and are not in denial.

Adios

Went to visit my doctor today still waiting on the further blood testing from titan medical center. But the dr today diagnosed me with hypothyroidism. Could very well be the culprit of the tiredness , and anxiety/depression symptoms. Going to start taking t2 to see if I can get my thyroid started.

blood work came in. test serum dropped almost 400 points in a week!!!
