Needles dull or muscle too dense?

Wow you know what… I was doing a bunch of TNE shots in my delts which is where the main problems exist!! You may be on to something. Anyone else have any input on this?

Idk about this but I do knno delts will build scar tissue pretty quick. Always best to rotate areas.

There are some (painful) techniques to help dissipate scar tissue though you can look into.

Also I found letting a little bead of oil run out and “coat” the needle helps. Dry/rough skin can also make this worse.

Idk what it is about Amazon, but even the “good” brands suck when ordered from them. Weird.

Same exact thing for me. I alternated muscles for my normal injections but my tne shots I did only in my delts...mostly my left delt. I can push fairly hard on my left delt and it won't go past the skin.

If you‘re drawing all 3 and injecting with same needle, then that’s the likely culprit. I use luer locks to avoid this. Draw with 18g and then inject with 25g 1”. Something about the rubber tops from some suppliers causes serious wear to the needles, especially cheaper insulin syringes.

I draw with a 21g and swap out
