ok, after two years of aas, i came off. After three months of being off i went to the doctor to get my test levels checked... i was loosing so much strength and gaining fat... i didn't comeoff my cycle with hcg and clomid so i lost soooo much....
blood work came back saying my test was some where in the 200's, so he put me on a 6 month angro gel trt system.
here is my question: i lost sooo much of my gains from not coming off my cycle the right way, and ihave been off for almost 4 months... should i run a nice 6-8 weeks cycle to get some of my gains back and then recover, or should i wait this one out and stick with the trt?

I would vote for rcovery of your own system. BTW, use of Androgel is not going ot allow you to do this.

how come?

why is that? my doctor (a urologist) says that this is the best way to get the test restarted. i asked him about hcg, his only reply was that androgel is the is the best way.

Your Urologist is mistaken. How could it be that a medication that causes suppression can be used to end suppression?

I do think you need to see someone who knows about this stuff.

Funny shit bro.....ur introducing test into ur system which will further shut down ur HPTA....u will never recover as long as u keep putting test into ur system

I cannot provide such specific medical advice without a full work-up. Sorry.

My urologist also swears taking 400mg of cyp every 4 weeks can jump start test production, as can androgel...
It scares me that he believes this...
He's great if I want T prescribed when/if I need it...

But I'd hate to be a guy with really low test levels trusting this doc to get my levels up....

There is not one single scrap of evidence out there which shows that position to be true. In fact, there is an overwhelming abundance of evidence that the opposite is true.

I need to train more Urologists in how to properly administer TRT.

Yeah, I kind of 'tricked' the blood work so I came back low so this guy will give a 400mg cyp shot or androgel whenever I complain of the classic low t symptoms... Probably not the most honorable thing to do...but
anyway, when I first went in there I told him I had no sex drive...got the labs, he only checked total and free t i believe, and sure enough I was low (from protein only and a little alcohol). So he sits down with me and explains how there is a hormone called testosterone that is responsible for male sex drive...
I almost busted out laughing...
Then he said that giving me shots of the hormone, would bump me up and perhaps even 'boost my own levels'
The whole thing was funny and scary at the same time.
I told my girl about this, she was mad cause she's in med school and thinks this was a twisted thing to do, but agreed this guy is lost.
It's scary cause you wonder what other misinformation is out there even among the professionals.
I'm just rambling

The first thing we should do is give thanks you at least have a doctor who is willing to administer testosterone.

The next thing you should do is realize guys like you make the hill all that steeper for those of us who are trying to get TRT accepted by the conventional medical community, so everyone who needs it may have access.

I agree with your girlfriend. In fact, I am going to call her right now and suggest she not sleep with you for the next couple of months.

I suggest you clean out your system totally and then after a long lay off from any drugs try again if you want.

You really fucked yourself though bro - to long on and then no pct - just asking for trouble.
