Sure... Unless you live in some podunk town there is a specialist who knows about this stuff. Even then you can travel to a big city and find a good endo. This isnt going to fix your problem. I would say go for it if it would but there is something wrong that is causing this and you need to get down to that root cause. It's a long story. Short version is I gambled on one doc after another, and after a while I realized it wasn't helping and handling shit myself would have prevented a surgery or two. Doesn't bother me if you don't believe that. But to be clear, I don't take this stuff all that much, just about a month at a time every 1-2 years when this happens. It's def toxic so I always deliberate a good bit before taking anything. Moreover, it's no good to see a doc when it's going down. It's way too late at that point. Hormones being normal between episodes, hard to see much opportunity for diagnosis. So I get bitch tits if I don't intervene. Been through it enough times that I'd rather poison myself than go on like that.

I hear and appreciate your stance bc you voiced it in a respectful, if worried, tone. But I will be the judge of my own purposes. I may seek medical help again in the future, but I learned this way of handling things for a reason.

I agree nolva shuts down my estro sides better than anything. I've never had to come off of it before switching to an AI, so I can't speak from experience about a rebound. I will say it spikes my test, which surely aromatizes like a bastard leaving me with high estro when I want to come off the nolva. I won't argue you can't taper off without an AI, but Im too prone to gyno to risk it. I've stopped exemestane almost cold turkey with very little rebound. A propos, I once failed to get off Adex and rebounded like a mofo even with the taper.

You don't get rebound with arimidex, exemestane, letro, or nolva.

You need an endocrinologist. Keep looking for a knowledgeable one. I know how stupid doctors are. I dealt with low testosterone for years to the point I got gynomastia bad due to the ignorance of doctors. You need to get your medical situation under control before you get another surgery. Once you do it won't come back

I took my first 50 mg nolva bomb 12 hrs before bloodwork. Gyno was flaring bad. I figured my HPTA might be reacting already, but I want to catch that estradiol with its pants down. Might be easier to get an endo interested with those results.

By the time you see swelling, you've already got X cc of permanent tissue that needs to be cut out.
