Hello everyone, long time lurker, new to posting and enhancement.

39, Male, getting back into lifting again after breaking during covid, it's been a while. Harder getting back to where I was this time.

Not gunna lie, not really at my peak natty but my state of mind, weight, diet and BF are good, just want to make gains easier and feel like a champ. Had bloodwork done a few months ago for unrelated reasons and my hormones were within average expectations.

Always thought about it, never taken the plunge, now that I'm a bit older and less prone to risk taking I've decided to try a test only beginner cycle.

I always thought when I was younger that most men over 40 should be making use of the wealth of scientific and medical knowledge to live a better quality of life, and most people with enough money already do, so why wouldn't ya?

Glad this place exists still, cheers.

Just get on TRT and don't mess around with cycles until and unless it's not enough.

Stable hormone levels are far easier on you and your health at this age. TRT will work wonders, and accustom you to steroids in any case.

Ticking all the right boxes.
Starting with reasoned, level headed and considered thinking.
It can only bode well, for you.

Lots of guys of your age, here, who will be pleased to share their experiences with you.

Thank you for the lovely intro.
Look forward to seeing you around.
:)

I appreciate your cautious and well reasoned advice, and I can't argue with your logic, but I prefer to do things my own way.

The healthcare system here is backed up to all hell, even getting a doctor is a nightmare, that's not really a good enough reason and I admit I'm going this route because it's in my nature, not because it's better.

If things go awry on a low dose I can stop, and I'll consult a doctor. I'll be sure to stay safe, get bloodwork done, and keep tabs on myself and how I'm feeling physically and mentally.

It is true that I'm impulsive and a bit bullheaded, but this is something I've considered many times and I feel I'm finally at a place to try this for real.

Welcome bro!
Curious...your first post was rather vague...may I ask what you have in mind?

Who said anything about a doctor?

Around here, "TRT" means self administered Test of around 200mg...

Oh shit lol, so most posts about people on "TRT" is self administered TRT? I've read around that your first cycle is your best and that you 'shouldn't waste it' by doing sub-optimal doses.

My rational was that 350 a week is optimal enough to get an understanding of how enhanced hormone therapy would affect me, without being too risky.

Your advice is I should start out lower ? I want to know what it feels like, to push the envelope of my body a little.

I might experiment and blast and cruise for the rest of my life, or transition to a permanent TRT dose, or just decide its not for me and go back natty.
