Lol. At least everyone can still relish their forum trophies and followers count. Some of those trophies are quite rare since the algorithm broke/changed at some point. I tried to tell you guys. Ebay?

Post up those follower counts and rare trophies . That should get us another 50 pages.

I believe it was for the best. Millard has played with roles off and on for years and this has ended up being the best route. The issue is it’s hard to create a system that can distribute role points based on merit and not just posts and reactions. Seeing a member promoted to Elite in less than a year because he posted a lot and did most of that in the underground showed Millard that the system was flawed, as it was in pervious years when we used to be “Awesome Members”. When this new role system was rolled out it was said it would base role points based on merit and that no reactions or posts in the underground would contributed to a higher role. Well we saw this system didn’t work.

Roles are cool don’t get me wrong but I believe this is the third time since I’ve been here it was best if everyone had an equal tittle for a number of reasons.

How could I forget about floaters to support the structural integrity of the newly developed muscle!

Thanks but again, the system didn’t work as it should. It rewarded post counts and reactions in the underground and not those who tested and shared those reports for harm reduction. When this first rolled out the idea of doing something special for guys/gal who actually contributed to harm reduction was discussed. Or maybe that was a discussion between Millard and I in private. Again, memory is terrible lately.

There's only one to settle this now. Short of MESO annual convention, I propose the following formula:

Score = dead hang time (s) * body mass (lb) / 1000

Example for me yesterday:

Score = 118 s * 250 lb / 1000 = 29.5 pound*kiloseconds (lb*ks)

Anybody up in the 40-50 score range? Elite.

Could also handicap for age and sex (and AAS use haha), but you get the idea. Hopefully inspires some time off the keyboard.

100% agree. I’m sad that many members that are indeed elite due to their great advice, sharing experiences, and helping people with harm reduction lost their status. However, the status meant nothing when trolls who just post for volume and reactions, have little to no actual experience, no life so they post 24/7, and sometimes even give harmful advice can earn the same designation. I always held out hope the lifeless would one day get tired but I underestimated their boredom.

Millard has a difficult if not impossible challenge on how to differentiate the trolls from the actual contributors now days. Thanks to the real elites for being what makes meso great and that’s due to your help and advice not the status. At least ChatGPT heroes and fake experts like ghoul aren’t rewarded for being shills.
