Hi,

I'm pushing 60, and have a good bit of experience that's 20 years out of date. I'm mostly interested in keeping a low RL profile while concurrently trying to figure out how best to get back in shape for untested strength sport.

Welcome to MESO man. Can we get the rest of your stats from ya along with your training an cycling history?
 
Sorry, I'm about 260 and will lift at 242. Powerlifting since the early 80s, with some Highland Games occasionally. I used to lift in every event I could find, but I figure 3-4 times a year is smartest now. I train 3x per week, and have recent gym totals a few pounds under 1,600. I might try the Caber Toss at a local event this spring.
 
Oops, cycling history:

DBol in the 70s for HS football, whatever the coaches said to do.
Multiple test, deca, sometimes with Dbol cycles in the 80s. This really never stopped working, so I didn't try most of the new stuff that came through the gym. Staple was 500 TE, 400 deca, weekly, plus a lot of low rep heavy lifting and eating clean enough to keep within 15 pounds of my weight class. I lifted at 308 mostly.
