Yea nuts are an excellent source of protein but unfortunately are LOADED with fat, and for that reason, are best when used in moderation.

More specifically as a means of enhancing the flavor of FOOD.

I remember reading an article a long time ago about a bodybuilder back in the 70's or 80's who would consume something like a pound of peanuts a day? I can't seem to find him on Google now so maybe it was just a story... it was his secret tool when bulking up.

Peanut butter is pretty good for protein... but it's almost secondary to the fact you get a lot of calories out of just a little amount. Makes bumping up those calories quite easy.

When i was bulking from about the i joined to late march i put on close to 30lbs and ate a bag of trail mix daily but would give the kids the m&m's i havent touched them since i started dropping my bf. Once i get to 10% i will start a winter bulk in october my goal is to hit 215lbs at hopefully 8%bf. I have been better than expected at sticking to my diet and goals so hopefully i can keep going were i want to.
