Hey all! 42 male, been lifting for about 4 years, started off maybe around 220, I’m 5’11, got on tirz 3 years ago and it worked wonders for me, I’m down to 174 now, I’ve been on sermorelin for about 5-6 months, makes me dream some very entertaining stuff, sometimes I wake up laughing cause it’s so entertaining! Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself! My main goals are muscle growth and losing my little stubborn belly fat!

Welcome to MESO!

Pic of what you are working with on the belly fat? Only if you are comfortable and can do it anonymously.

Prior obesity can lead to stubborn fat cells that will simply be the last to get depleted. Spot reduction doesn't exist but fat distribution is gene and prior obesity dependent.

Anyway, pic worth a million words, etc.

No pressure. We can just tell you whether lipo is the only answer with proper pic. Or you can go full The Machinist but that wont help your gainz.

Welcome to MESO. Briefly looking at your height and weight, and taking into account you actively workout and watch your diet, you should be relatively lean. I’m guessing more loose skin than fat but pics would definitely help.

Thank you for sharing. Very helpful.

First thing that comes to mind...

Hard to say but even your extremities look high BF (above 15% which is obese to me). Sorry but you are talking to a bunch of body dysmophics here. Well at least me.

Keep cranking! You are just getting started.
Here is my thing, like when I up the tirz, I can see my obliques and two top abs, but then in my mind I’m like, well if I’m dieting this hard, I’m not gonna grow my muscles. I totally have body dysmorphia. So it’s fat right? No peptide would help me or anything?

You are fat. Not being mean. You need more body dysmorphia. Right now you have the wrong body dysmorphia. You think you are leaner than you are?

Here's a plan. That way the muscle stuff wont get in the way. Strip off all the fat. I mean strip it. Then slowly add the muscle. Cant do both very well without drugs. And you have already started the GLP.

Right, so cardio harder, diet even harder, but testamorelin wouldn’t help with the visceral fat along with dieting and exercising?

Congratulations on the weight loss. That being said, Honest opinion your diet/nutrition needs work, especially considering you are already running weight loss drugs. You appear to still have a high body fat percentage. There is a sub forum here dedicated to nutrition so you can utilize that to improve your understanding.

You claim to be working out but from what I see of your arms you have no muscle or tone. You definitely don’t look like you have four years of training under your belt. Skip even thinking about any additional compounds at this point. You have major areas to improve upon before you get to that point.

I’m not shitting on you and think it’s wonderful you’re here and interested in improving yourself. Good luck with the journey.

What’s your diet like? Do you track your calories?

Make sure your protein intake is adequate but step 1 is strip the fat off, as readalot said. At your bf % you may or may not build some muscle despite the deficit but that shouldn’t be your main focus yet.

Here are some pics

Hey, welcome! Former fatty reporting in. Your stomach looks a lot like mine did before I got serious. No two ways about it, you are fat my dude. This isn't meant to be an insult but a reality check. That's not "a little stubborn belly fat". That's obesity. Now is the time to lock tf in.

If you are 5'11'' 174 and your waistline looks like that then you likely have little to no appreciable muscle. That's good in the sense that you can likely shoot for recomposition (gain muscle while also losing fat). Overweight people excel at recomps because their bodies will fuel their resistance training with the stored calories in your adipose tissue while you eat in a deficit.

My advice? Decrease the kcals and up the cardio. With a proper GLP-1 the weight will fly off. I've never tried tirz personally but I had great success with Retatrutide if you are interested in trying something different.

Best of luck to you, brotha!
