Newbie Help, Did I mess up my homebrew?

Hi guys, just a quick question...I made 50mls of Tren and the recipe called for 37mls of oil but I thought I would save 7ml to purge through the filter afterward.

The problem is after I filtered the oil in two separate 30ml vials and when I was purging the oil I wasn't sure how to exactly purge it so I I just split the oil and filtered 3.5ml in each vial one with about 30+mls in one vial and the other with like 10+mls. (Don't know the exact ml's that's why I put the + but the total volume should be 50mls)

My question is did I do it right or did I make less ml/mg than I should of?

There should only he a couple of ml in your syringe filter with the active ingredient. So whichever one you injected into first received a few ml of active ingredient followed by a few ml of oil only. The second vial received oil only. You could draw half of the fuller one and inject into the lesser one and do that a few times back and forth to mix the 2. Personally, I just toss the remaining few ml in the filter. Not worth the trouble, imo. If you feel you must then just push 2 or 3 ml of oil only through the filter into your last vial.

You are using raw not cartriges right? If you are using raw, dissolve it with bb in a beaker that has measurements this way all you have to do is add your carrier. Add ba at 2 % of the total volume of the finished product. For instance if you are brewing 100ml, add 2 ml of ba. I add 2 ml extra, and it is spot on. This is so easy that we tend to overthink things at first.

To answer your question, no you didn't do it right. Go on line and buy a beaker and complete the process first, then bottle it.

Ah ok, thank you really appreciate veterans like you spreading knowledge on the boards helping newbs like me and for other people in the future to see.

I was making 50mls of tren and the recipe called for 37.5 oil total and basically I was gonna purge 7ccs(from what I read people normally just use 1 or 2 ccs I dont know why I was doing 7) of oil after I filtered the BA/BB/hormone.

But than I had two 30ml vials( I filled my filtered gear of about 35mls in one vial and the other one 10 or so, these are just estimate) but than when I went to purge the rest of the 7ccs of oil I got confused and just separated 3.5mls of oil in each vial and I'm not sure if i got less mg/ml in each vial or what? I hope that clears it up, again veterans like you make the community out and help a lot of people I know.

If I just withdraw some gear from the fuller one and inject to even out with the other one will it be 50ml 100mg each of gear or will it be messed up because I didn't do it one vial?

There was a total or 43mls of hormone/oil/bb/ba and saved the last 7 to purge at the end and 30ml or so went in one 30ml vial and 10ml or so went in the other 30ml vial and went to purge my last 7mls through the filter and just put 3.5 in each vial and I don't if theres uneven mg/mls in gear.

I wouldn't call myself a veteran bro, I do know more than most guys I know just because I took the time to learn but that's it. It's really not that hard, you're off to a good start. Next time just use a 100ml vial and filter it all into one

Really not even that big a deal. If you added 3.5ml of pure oil in 10ml of your brew then instead of 10ml of 100mg/ml you now have 13.5ml of like 78mg/ml (rough estimate) and whereas the 30ml would be like 102mg/ml. Your not going to change the amount of active ingredient overall, but if you draw and pin and mix back and forth you will just be mixing the compounds to even out to 100mg/ml. See how it's not really worth trying to save the 2 or 3 hundred MG that were lost in the filter? If a gram is 8$ then you are working on saving about a dollar 50.

Exactly what I was thinking! I will inject the the vial with more ml in the other one with less so that the oil is on a even level in both vials, thanks again! Your knowledge is really impeccable! lol and You service to the community is wonderful!

So best way to brew it is in a 100ml then to transferring to 10ml vial u just take it from the 100ml and inject it normally into a 10ml, is that correct

question guys, when your brewing up your oil, do you always leave a little oil out so you can finish up making sure all the gear is out of the whatman filter?

I do not. Trying to save 2ml is a waste of time, imo.
