I sort of understand your perspective. And definitely the notion that single ester Test is easier to execute and interpret. But I'm one of those guys not looking to blow up . . . hence I will never go with anadrol or dbol or high amts of test. As it is now, I've made good gains and most people just go, "wow you really look great you must be in the gym all that time." I have no qualms about telling close friends or family that I'm using steroids (if they ask) but in my line of work (academic MD) people accept drinking and tobacco use but anything "illegal" would be ghastly.Denkallberry said:My concern is, at 600mg/wk eq, I wouldn't get much from eq except a little suppression. If you think think eq is good for hardening, or especially is good for some joint problems, then go for it. But all I believe will happen is that you're delaying the start of your next cycle. Why I believe it's good to just start with good ol' test, is that most will respond to it, and you know what's going on with your cycle by eliminating other variables.
I may just be a hard gainer with eq. I can take a gram a week and not see much off of it, but a simple cycle of a gram of prop or susp and nothing else makes me feel pretty cozy.
For my specific needs, I'd take low dose eq for a few months for joint support (as Hogg suggests). As a general anabolic, it's not very interesting though. Maybe a anadrol/eq cycle might be tasty.
Is it likely that EQ is any more suppressive than Test?
As for the joints, I was impressed with my lower extremity joints with EQ (I've had two ACL surgeries in the past). Despite mad increases in my squats and leg presses my knees NEVER hurt. Now my wrists are killing me but my knees are fine.
