Greetings Members,

First, I've followed Meso for many years and learned a lot; thank you! It is fantastic to have folks dedicated to helping one another in harm reduction and to meet personal goals. This is especially true when we are fed a lot of BS through the media and traditional medicine. I'm an East Coaster and former professional endurance athlete. Upon retirement, I did nothing because it felt good to do nothing after spending what felt like most of my waking life training and competing. Once I hit my late thirties, I got the bug to get myself back into shape. Ironically, as an athlete I loathed the weight room despite having natural elite strength levels (school records etc blah blah). When I hit my late thirties and decided to take a stab at getting back into shape, I found the opposite, I loved the iron, explosive training and steered clear of anything remotely involving stamina; aka over five reps is cardio ;). I jumped into some competitions to scratch the competitive itch and fared well but found that I really just enjoyed the personal journey of hitting milestones and setting new ones to strive toward. Into my late forties, I found a wall and after much research and confiding with a trusted friend, I took the vitamin plunge. Over the last few years, I've done 2-3 conservative vitamin doses per year with no negative experiences whatsoever. I have read all of the horror stories and I guess consider myself lucky but also think education and caution are highly underrated. At this point, I hope to lift heavy for another couple of decades and to maintain a high quality of life until I kick the bucket. I have not had to do the TRT thing as I've been able to consistently rebound and it doesn't seem like a low dose would really change much for me. I look forward to continued learning and am especially interested in training protocols in on v off periods. I used to lift with a freak of nature (RIP my brother) who switched between phases of bodybuilding type schemes and powerlifting type schemes, several months on one followed by several months on another. The logic was that it gave the joints a rest while undulating loads. As I get older, I don't plan to slow down my charge but I do hope to learn to always be smarter. Thanks to all the members for sharing and yes, the handle is from Tombstone, a nickname earned 27 years ago. Cheers, MadCap

What do you mean here? If you are using coded references to steroids or AAS, no need to be shy. We use the real terms here;)
