He represents the typical man. Fat. But thinks he is attractive to the opposite sex in white runners. The shoes represent fitness so the man doesnt have to.
I fucking love that line....(I'm stealing it )

I've been Christmas shopping on Amazon app, looking at clothes for the better half, it's rife with fat girls modeling clothes. Not just pudgy but full on class III obese.

Tell us the truth... The real reason you are mad is cause the dude is on an ad and you ain't :D
No, that’s not it…at all. I’m mad because we live in a time where companies would rather use fat, ugly motherfuckers to advertise workout apparel than ppl in shape that can actually motivate others!

People need to see themselves in the dude in the add in order to buy. People are sick of unachivable body types. Look at women. They were killing themselves in order to be like the supermodels of the past in order to fit in the clothes the ads were serving them.

It's much easier and profitable for the companies to advertise to the vast majority of the people with an average to fat looking dude cause most of the people are like him

Nike has it all wrong. Just think how much apparel a company could sell if it only manufactured and sole merchandise for muscular guys with a body fat of less than 10%.
What I was talking about was the mentality of being able to look up to someone or use it as motivation rather than this attitude of ,”nah fuck it, that’ll never be me so why try?” It’s not necessarily the image as it is the message, it’s saying “this is good enough ya fat fucks” rather than a message that makes ppl strive for more. Perfect example would have been someone like Cory Everson, Cindy Crawford, ppl like that. I talk to a lot of chicks who looked up to ppl like that and worked their asses off, did they get like that? Maybe not, but thy got a hell of a lot further than maybe they would have only having fat, out of shape ppl in sweatpants to look up to, hahahaha

Of course, it sounded like you were upset at Nike.

My comment was tongue in cheek. I think most agree that Nike's marketing department knows what types of ads will maximize sales.

So you're saying it's the 'fat fucks' that are upsetting you.

I just think it's wasted energy for bodybuilders, or anyone else for that matter, to impose their views of what a person should like on everyone else.

It's challenging enough for the bodybuilding minority fighting for the right to live in the body of our own choosing (and everything that goes towards this goal).

I don't expect, nor am I going to fight, to compel the majority to pursue my chosen physique ideal as their own.

I'm happy if they leave me to do my thing. I'll leave them to do theirs.

Nah man, it’s the fat fucks being portrayed as athletic and ideal that pisses me off. This marketing sparks a loser mentality with ppl, “yea yea, I can’t realistically be fit, fuck it why try?” Hahahahaha

I think you’re reading far too much into it. Joggers aren’t even that popular as clothing for sports nowadays anyway. Most people buy them for comfort & because they’re usually pretty cheap. In the UK it’s what a lot of people will wear around the house, particularly during winter.

Nah man, they’re telling us it’s ok to be a piece of shit, don’t fall victim to it!! Lmao

All this fat shaming is so disrespectful. It’s not their fault they eat 7k calories a day. Why can’t y’all accept that these people are beautiful in their own way? You too could end up fat not by any fault of your own. Would you like to be shamed as well? Bunch of juice heads y’all are.

Fuck Nike and their bitch ass athletes and jogger models! Maybe Kapernick and that fat fuck in the joggers can do some sort of human rights march together!

Indeed i feel ashamed. I forget some people are force fed and overweight not from their own doing. Being born with a genetic imperfection like two heads is exactly the same as over eating and failing to move.
My deepest apologies.
