Nintendo Re-releasing classic NES

Nintendo is going to re-release the classic 8 bit NES in November with 30 built in games (they say there may be more for download later). Going for about $60 with hdmi and usb ports.

Im not big into the new video games, but I loved old Nintendo and Ill be the first in line. I cant wait to introduce my son to these games (He's 3, so theyll be easier for him than new games).

And before anyone says it, yes I know about EMU and ROMs. I have them on my phone. But nothing beats havingthe system and controller in hand.

I had em on my old computer with a controller. I just think itll be cool to have the actual system there (even if its mini).

Yeah, it's cool that way. Especially with modern memory rather than old-school where you randomly lost your save files and came unglued. Possibly breaking nearby objects.

Its crazy how things have changed. I used to love that game. Now the new Madden games look like you're playing in a live game.

Ohhh old Nintendo was the biggest thing ever back in the day. Super Mario and Donkey Kong were my (and my brother's) fave games. The ROMS for the old games can be found on the Net and there's emulators for it for Windows/Mac/Linux.

Yeah man the ps4 is crazy real. Love playing some Madden and Call of Duty. Grand Theft Auto 5 is good too when I want to get my gangsta on. Lol.

I'll be picking one up for sure. It will just be cool to have. I'm sure I'll get bored of it pretty quickly. I don't even turn on my Xbox one anymore.

I'll definitely be getting one. I doubt you will see duck hunt for it unless they come up with a new gun controller. The old ones won't work with an lcd tv

Maybe some enterprising company just might make one...who knows, if such a company can make a deal with Nintendo.

I've got an old Playchoice 10 arcade machine with the original Contra on it. Also Rad Racer, Double Dragon, Mike Tyson's Punchout and Wild Gunman. Never filled the other five slots. My dad bought it for when I was like 9 years old. It's rigged up where you don't have to put quarters in it, too. Still works perfectly except the lower left part of the screen is discolored a little. Not a huge deal.

There was a time I was going after a perfect game on Contra. Best I ever did was only lose one life. The ice level and the factory level with the fire are brutal. I could probably do it with an actual controller rather than the joystick. Lots of good times with that game.

Might buy one just to have. Although honestly with so many years away from those older games i dont know if id be able to go back to those lackluster graohics and sketchy controls
