Hey bro's, can anyone recommend how often juicers should use nizoral shampoo, it says on the packet to use 2-4 d/wk for the 1st couple wks then to use only once every 2wk after that. Is this sufficient to benefit from it's dht reducing capabilities?

Do you have the 1 or 2%...Myself I just use the 1% and I use it ed and have so for the last 5yrs. I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary using it ed except that my hair isn't falling out anymore lol.

i use the 1% ed, i don't notice any difference either. they say there's a chance you can irritate your scalp by using ed, but yu'll have to find out by trying it out. i've had zero probs. i'll probably jump to the 2%. topicals are the best solution for me, finasteride had too many sides.

Daily use of 2% has caused scalp irritation in the past for me. Now I use the 1% ed like these guys w/no probs. It only makes sense to use any topical daily. You're not using it as an anti-fungal.

Nizoral 2% w/ out script.

where can I get that without a script?

This legit pharmacy in Canada sells it online. Apparently you do not need a prescription to buy the 2% Nizoral shampoo. In the USA, the 1% is OTC, I really think the 2% should be as well.... No matter, just use Canada. Our US laws are retarded sometimes.

Good Luck.

I use the 2% cream twice a week as I shave my melon. The drug does not need to be used dailing as it is absorbed into your system through the skin via cream or shampoo.

The delivery lasts for several days so 3x a week max should do the trick.

I use it with proscar as I have slight MPB on my crown and i just started the finestride with pics so Ill keep ya all updated.

The use of Nizoral for MPB is highly debated, with plausible evidence on both sides of the argument. So, really the larger issue is not how often to use it, but does it actually do anything. Hardly anyone views McNeil's (maker of Nizoral) studies as credible. There is no hard evidence to prove that if Nizoral does exert anti-androgenic properties sufficient to aid in MPB, that the dose schedule used for fungal treatment, which is 2-3x/week, would be sufficient to treat MPB. So, why not use daily? Or in the case of 2%, as often as tolerated. McNeil's bogus study also showed little to no difference in efficacy b/w the 1% & 2%. I opt for the easy to obtain, less irritating, daily use of 1% shampoo. The cream is obviously not as user friendly.

I have to agree I dont think it does much for MPB. I hAVE used it for several years and the one thing I do like about it, it works well keeping the excessive oil out of the scalp.

I don't know how or why and I'm not even going to try and figure it out but I can tell you it works wonders for myself. I started using it when it first came out in MM2K and fell in love with it.
