NMN + rhGH

Longtime longevity dose rhGH user that recently added NMN to my protocol 30 days ago. I haven't found any research that specifically points to synergies between the two but I have noticed a fairly dramatic amplification of the positive effects of the rhGH (namely fat reduction) while using the two together. Anyone experience the same thing and/or have data that suggests this may actually be a thing?

@readalot @Type-IIx

Yeah this effect may not relate to everyone but I definitely hit on what was a prior deficiency. Just for grins I'm going to get a vitamin profile next time I do bloods. I take Nexium for GERD and already supplement with extra Magnesium due to depletion from the drug. Could be others...

I am currently using 3iu GH daily as well as NMN + NR 50/50. It would be really hard for me to pinpoint the effects of NMN as I'm also on trt/HCG and low dose mast. I feel fucking great though! Not cutting currently, just maintaining but I am fairly lean for not cutting calories.

Pretty sure adding NMN will never be a bad thing. It could be better than straight NAD+

We all have an idea what a replacement rHGH dose is, but I couldn't tell you what a replacement NAD+ dose is.

I think UncleBuns is at the sweet spot more or less, assuming its a nice dose of NMN. I Would shoot for 500mg to a gram a day.

NAD and NMN are 2 very different compounds..

replacement NAD dose is not a thing... not even sure what u could be referencing..

Why are people taking NMN instead of NR? Is there a biological reason or just accessibility/price?
no definitive answer on what's better, products now that have both... but ya prob price and not knowing if its worth it... at least from my understanding...

lol sorry should of read uncle buns post, said the same thing...

There’s a new product following the 1-MNA protocol for optimizing NAD levels that was just released. Seems promising, but fairly new so not a lot of research on it it, yet. What is out there does seem to promote enhanced NAD levels better than any of the precursors in the market now though:

Inhibition of NNMT:
1-MNA has been shown to inhibit the enzyme NNMT, which when present in
high levels, is associated with various diseases. By inhibiting this
enzyme, 1-MNA can contribute to overall cellular health and disease
prevention.

This makes stoked as fuck to add nmn into my stack. Great to know there’s positive synergy

See also research on 5-amino-1MQ. All pre-clinical but interesting.

5-amino-1MQ is available but really expensive relative to what we think it should do.

Actually am trying it right now, has some really good cognitive benefits as well. A lot of the Chinese vendors are starting to sell it just be careful, there’s an iodide version and a chloride version. Too much iodide can be a really bad thing.

Thanks for the feedback. What is your dosing protocol?
