NO2 Supplements- Liquid or Capsule form?

Damn this is the second time writing this, fucking dial-up!

I have a questiong regarding the delivery methods of NO2 supplements, Liquid vs. Capsule.

I am currently taking BSN's Nitrix. I work out in the morning after breakfast. BSN reccomend taking Nitrix 30-45 minutes before training. I like to have 50-60 grams of complex carbs along with 40 grams of Whey before my training session for sustained energy and to begin protein synthesis. I then wait 30 minutes and take my Nitrix. I am concerned that I am not absorbing the NO2 like I should after reading an ad. for a Liquid esterfied NO2 supplement by VPX. They claim that pill form could be passed through the body undigested.

What do you guys think? Would the liquid delivery system guarantee absorption? Or is the time released method of capsule delivery better for my workout? Does the liquid delivery method provide sustained NO2 or is it absorbed too quickly?

Additionaly, BSN reccomends three-four capsules 3 times daily. I then take 3 capsules in the afternoon, and 3 in the early evening.

Should I make a switch to liquid form? Should I stick with capsules? Maybe, both? I enjoy the pumps I get from Nitrix Oxide supplements, but want to make sure I am digesting my money.

Also if any of you would like to suggest any NO2/Creatine regimens I would be interested in them.

Thanks!

Doesnt matter, NO2 products are garbage. Save your money.

Amen to that brother! Biggest rip-off in the supplement industry.

just some very BRIEF reasons why that i've read about:
1) AKG (arginine alpha keto glutarate) needs to cross the blood brain barrier. This means no taking this supp with any other amino acid that can compete with arginine to cross the BBB and produce the desired effect
2) Most tests were done intravenously. This means it goes straight into your body, bypassing the digestive system.
3) if you need it to get through digestion intact to produce any significant effect, you need to take it in LARGE quantities. Unfortunately, a side effect of such mega doses is nausea....
4) lastly and most significantly, the pathways for NO2 production are complex. Just like taking DHEA and "HOPING" some of it gets converted into testosterone, very little no2 supps undergo the 'right' conversion pathway to ultimately get converted into NO2. AND on top of that, the effects of this coversion lasts a grand total of a few secs. Definitely not worth the 100s of dollars you pay, just for the hopes of a few seconds of NO2 dilating your blood vessles.

I attended an awesome seminar on creatine, glutamine,NO2 and some others, and i'm so glad I never invested on this supp.

they area all junk. these supp companies could pack shit in a bottle and get people to buy it. as many people as I tell they are shit, they still buy it....go with cap form, but watch your money get flushed

What's the best way to take glutamine, and is it as effective as it has been hyped to be? What about creatine?

I dont recall all that much hype in regards to glutamine or creatine. Either way, 5-10g of each per day is plenty.

Beefy,
like bob smith said, post-workout. Or you can split that amount evenly throughout the day. Basically it helps with recovery and minimizes catabolism. I like to think of it as putting 98octane fuel into your car, instead of 95 octane. :P

creatine...bottom line regarding this supp was:
1) its not dangerous like so many dicks make it out to me, and dosnt CAUSE cramps
2) all that hype about creatine not being absorbed unless you use "our" supplement with "special" carriers is bullshit. creatine is creatine. you can take it with dextrose on an empty stomach to produce insulin, and that enhances absorption
3) loading is hype. 5g per day is PLENTY, and body levels rise to the same levels without loading. loading is only recommended to make you buy more of their supplement inmo
4) no supplement will make you grow without hard work. creatine gives you a few seconds of ATP, enough for another rep or two, so if this is what you want, go for it
