Not Another New Guy!!

I'll be the first probably lmao. I'll try that in between my meals, plus it's pretty cheap too. I like sardines too, would it be good to switch between those?

Absolutely I used to love sardines until I tried the ones packed in water...fuckin gross...I haven't been able to go back yet.

Remember tuna and sardines are LOW in calories and won't be much use other than protein of course in a proper bulking period

The ones in hot sauce and mustard sauce is where it's at. Never had the ones in water.

Right now my goal is to increase my protein, I've had the goal for a few weeks now and still need to find the high protein foods. Like you just said, tuna. I'll try that next week

Haha, no big deal. I just need to find a way to get some high protein and calorie foods. Like tuna, I would eat every day if it didn't raise the concern for mercury poisoning. I usually buy things in bulk so I know I'll have enough for a while, plus it's cheap
I've said this over and over again, I'm the poster boy of mercury poisoning. I crush multiple cans of tuna in a single sitting, I can eat a four pack of big cans no mayo like it's the last cans on earth. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes...tuna, chick peas, peanut butter, jerky , almonds are all shelf stable foods.

Could it potentially have a negative impact on your health? Sure, but so could jabbing needles in your ass and firefights.

I probably won't try them like that. I kinda see how they would taste bad. And good explanation tango. I'll take yours and truckers advice and just do it

What's good is the Bumble Bee Albacore Tuna with Jalapenos and Olive Oil.
I just make a sandwich with that. 2 Pieces of bread, or a sliced baguette, voila.

Sounds pretty good I'll check it out. Does that come
In the pouches? And btw trukker, just an update on the whole eating and getting enough calories in. Seems to be working pretty damn well. I had already had an Increase in calories before, and protein, but not as I did now. I've increase my daily calories to about 4200 calories hopefully that is enough and protein is pretty high too. And I'm getting in the good fats, and a lot of carbs. I do feel like I need more carbs though

Yea it comes in single pouches, each one is enough for one sandwich.
I used to do the pouches for years, then I just get the cans cause you get more bang for the buck out of the can.
Otherwise wherever that you are at, if you have a chow hall, clean that motherfucker dry. I was eating 3800-4600 cal a day down in Benning, but still lost crazy fuckin weight just cause I was running around being active from sun up to sun up and then some.
Just have to figure out what works best for you.
O yea, stay Hydrated !!!

I don't do the pouches, they have less (total weight) per pouch than the can provides. I eat two cans a day normally (10-12 oz of meat with every meal), I work on the run and tuna cans are great. I open them up before I leave to work outside, put them in a zip lock bag, throw some mustard in, and some pepper, then shake the bag until everything mixes. You can eat right out of the bag, as it forms a ball of tuna, no fork required.

This is one of my staple tricks for eating enough meat while being on the run!
