[SIZE=-1]Eric Garonzik, 39, former co-owner of a West Shore gym, faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted of the drug counts filed against him in Dauphin County.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Nine other people, including Garonzik's ex-wife, also were charged. Garonzik's arrest came after a two-year probe by narcotics agents with the attorney general's office dubbed "Operation Roid Runner."[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Eric Garonzik, a former part-time police officer in Tower City, Schuylkill County, was sentenced to three to 12 months in prison in 2003 after pleading guilty in Lehigh County to charges of possession of steroids and criminal conspiracy.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Garonzik, of the 3400 block of Lisburn Road in Lower Allen Twp., also served four months in prison in 2006 after pleading no contest to an indecent assault count and guilty to a simple assault charge in Cumberland County after an ex-girlfriend said he attacked her after she broke off their relationship.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]In 2004, he served a prison term after pleading no contest to disorderly conduct charges filed by Camp Hill police, who said Garonzik threatened to blow up an ex-wife's home and car.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]He also pleaded no contest to indecent assault in 1997 after being charged with sexually assaulting a woman in Lower Allen Twp. Garonzik was put on probation for that charge.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Five of the people charged Tuesday were residents of the Lehigh Valley. The other four, including Stacy Garonzik, are from Dauphin and Cumberland counties.[/SIZE]
