Me and mine got rid of satellite a few months ago and cut back on mobile data in favor of cable internet with Netflix and Hulu. Saves over $100/month.
Same. We pay for netflix and hulu. We have one of the roku boxes to stream on the tv. Much cheaper, cable is getting ridiculous.

Really like it. You'll never run out of stuff to watch. But I find it also cuts down on channel surfing, and watching out of laziness. Having to actually actively find something to watch rather than just vegging out.

Our wireless data though Verizon was crazy expensive, too. With the Wi-Fi at home we cut that way back since that's where we used the most data anyway. Our satellite was over $100, too. They advertise it being cheaper, but getting any channels, multiple boxes, DVR and HD service end up making it much more.

I really don't watch much these days, but my girlfriend and her daughters watch a ton of stuff. I follow Supernatural and a few shows we watch together and that's about it.

We use consoles for now, Wii for the kids and I have my Xbox 360 in the bedroom. We use a laptop in the living room for the moment. I got a broken PS3 for free and have been meaning to fix it for that.
