OEP LABS Domestic

Yeah after going over it several times, 1 Inch seems too much, I was just a bit skeptical and wanted to be on the safer side but after I took a pic of my quad and saw it like that, I was like yeah I def don’t need 1inch

Thanks again for the reassurance guys
I think you guys are talking about 30g but I've used this 3/4" 28ga when needing something in between 1" and 1/2"

How do you like the Exels? I’ve just started pinning and have only used Nipro so far, which are fantastic. Can’t feel a thing with 27g and 30g 1/2”. But their next size up is 1.25”, and I simply don’t need anything that long.

Exel is supposed to be the best and sharpest needle I believe or maybe terumo was

I've not noticed any positives with Exels vs Nipro, personally. I have a bunch of syringe with needle 3ml 25g 1" Exels that I actually don't like much. I feel more drag with the needle vs similar offerings from BD or Nipro. Not sure if it's a coating thing or sharpness related, but I wasn't impressed. Maybe I got a bad batch. If they're all the same price, I'm buying Nipro or BD. If cost is factored in, I'm buying Nipro every time. Exel is like 4x the price of Nipro, which I might consider, if they were noticeably better. Since they're not even as good, in my opinion, I just don't bother with them. Again, all my personal opinions, others may have different experiences.

Seems like BD prices have increased I remember a box of 100 syringe+needle use to be around $22

I'm not sure if I can tell a difference between them and Nipro. In my head I rank Nipro as #1 but these are great too.

I was however able to tell a difference between the Nipro and Exel vs the Amazon stuff I had. Once I switched I discarded my unused amazon needles.

As someone who is really sensitive to needles, the Nipros have been worlds better than the Exels for me. No drag, as mentioned, and seem sharper overall, but take that with a grain of salt as I was still figuring out wtf I was doing early on.

I had intended to give the Japanese brand(s) a whirl, but honestly after getting keyed in on the Nipro thin walls, I don't even care to buy others.

You can always just not plunge all the way with the 1" needles too if you need or want something in the middle, and they won't go to waste.
pretty much mission impossible for me. i must have unresolved PTSD from crippling myself as a newb years ago. lights on, target acquired, alcohol prepped, and full speed in with it. there is no way i could just guide it in or finesse it for depth.

for real. the code and the site. the things i’ve learned on OEP’s thread. repeating myself, but this spot has been a goldmine.
Not to keep cluttering the thread, but I ordered last night and it was already en route this morning.

On topic: I'm still hoping we get that TNE Sdrol PWO. Not a rush IMO, but I for sure want to give that one a test drive.

i did too! plus i bookmarked a ton a pages for girlfriend. it was a total unexpected come up.

I don't mean to keep junking up this thread with needle reviews but holy shit. I've been using cheap Amazon needles for the last couple years. I have a mental block about stabbing myself so I just push really slow until it breaks the skin and ease it in by the millimeter super slow. My Amazon needles sometimes push a huge dent in before it finally breaks through. It's pretty uncomfortable. I tried out a Nipro thin wall this morning and I felt like an Ethiopian on a life diet of shit flavored rice who was handed a ribeye. I started my slow painful push to break the skin and it was buried before I even knew the tip had touched me. Totally changed the miserable experience for me.

Anyway, that's why I'm on this forum. To learn what I'm missing out on, and I really appreciate the knowledge from you all.
