Off season diet advice

Did you keep cardio in?

I know you said you were already fairly active and a lot of steps so it might not be a factor.
But for me, working a desk job, my endurance and work capacity also dips when im in peak off season eating and adding in a few days of easy cardio usually sorts me out.
might not be the answer for you, im pretty sensitive to the bf increase in bulk phases.

No i don't do much cardio besides getting my steps in. My work involves enough activity, loading and unloading a big truck. I occasionally do some 10' HIIT in the treadmill but not often because most of the times i end my workout and i'm gased out. The days i don't work i go outside up to 2X30' walks to get my steps.

9lbs over 8 weeks sounds like youve kept it pretty clean. Id consider that a good amount of progress

Yes i won't say it's bad, it's just unexpectedly low for the overall amount of food i'm eating. But i still chose this over a 20 pound increase which half of this is fat. I'll try to ride that pace for another 6-7 weeks and then decide if i continue or go down to cruise.

I bet you first and last pics taken are actually lightyears apart.. You must have changed body composition and swapped fat for muscle surely..

This here is exactly same weight but a COMPLETELY different look.. 9lbs up already my guy so your bulk is going well.. Just keep things healthy and going as long as you feel necessary.. View attachment 300699

Woah, man you didn't just added weight but you recomped also. I'm far from there, 9lbs increase is more prominent to you because you also lost fat and in reality it's not 9lbs but perhaps 12. Nice job.
