Offloading some gear

I picked up all his Mast and NPP Wed as well and haven’t heard from him but I was going to give it till Monday-Tuesday before calling him out as a scammer. He did said he would drop it off Thursday so I don’t expect to see it till monday. He has been on here over a year so I’m not inclined to jump to the scammer label yet but that’s just me.

Well did he say he would send tracking, like he should have? If so, then don't expect anything from him sadly because at a minimum he should have posted in here the things sold but he's ghosted the forum.

Yeah but it’s not hard to message back when I’ve asked when he could ship. But for my payment he was quick to respond.

Every day there’s more and more threads of guys looking to sell extra gear. Newer members and older members should be a little more cautious. This is now the 2nd time a member scammed someone. The other was David44.

Monday and no packages so pretty certain he was a scammer. It’s a bit of a weird game though being a member for a year and then putting up photos and scamming people of coin. Kind an odd long game way to make $300, I imagine there are easier scams but what do I know.

Ps: even stupider is that all the stuff I wanted was on the QSC domestic list. Pretty dumb of me.

I think you'd built up a track record within the board of, at the very least, being active/interactive. At that point you were also a "Well-known Member", not that it necessarily means a whole lot other than cool orange name, but there was some substance to go off of. I feel bad for some of these newbies getting scammed, but it's a learning experience. At least they just lost some money and didn't lose money + ended up in the ER (like me).

Hopefully this serves as a lesson for newer members, hell even older ones, to not buy gear from some rando just to save a few bucks. Just pay the extra $5-10 per vial and get it from someone like GL, Stan, or a reputable re-seller like Rido.

This is extremely disappointing. Even though the guy didn't have much post history which i find valuable, a year long account meant nothing. Guess he'll just make an alt and burn this one.

Sorry to the guys who lost out. This isn't typical for here, and I advise future buyers to probably avoid sellers with a lack of time and involvement here.

What are you talking about. Rido was the most active and involved member, who switched over as a source. He's always been taken seriously.
