Its not just a DL record Jay , its all three , squat/bench/deadlift . I need at least a 1085 total . The bench record is only 285lbs , I rep that . Remember this is ages 55-59 . So I got 3.5 years to do it , lol .
 
Right now for my 165 class it is like 375 squat/285 bench/425 deadlift . I got the first 2 beat by 50lbs and my dead is a good 20lbs better .

Can I hold on to 200lb strength and lose 35lbs ? Thats the question . I think I can .

I've been lurking along but just wanted to chime in and send some motivation your way OGH. Good luck on your goal, it's ambitious and will be one hell of a fight, but nothing worth having comes easy...I know you will see it through :D

I put whey protein in my Metamucil :) I hope my progress here will keep you guys pushing the old age envelope too . And use us older guys as future role models , I still do .

jaymaximus - very inspirational , Im showing this to my neighbor who is just starting out ....
 
....And its failure time ( I call it stuck day) cable rowing got me at 180x10x10 . I failed on the 7th set , 7th rep . I finished out the last 2 sets w/ 6 &7 reps . Im still quite happy w/ my effort . I got stuck on the EZ curl too , 4th set I failed at 9th rep (100lbs). Almost got it .
I expect my next inc bench to get a stuck day too. I guess I need to start adding 20lbs to my squats to get stuck on them . My legs just dont know when to quit...

Im going to keep adding 10lbs to each workout so it brings me down to the 4-5 rep range . 10x10 is almost over ....

shit...I wish I could push at your pace and maintain it. I'm a chronic over-trainer, I feel I've adapted over time but moving forward one of my goals is find the balance between intensity and consistency. It's always been more short term goals, keep changing it up. You've been hands down the most influential member in regards to broadening my base of knowledge in all aspects and routes towards development. Being young and enhanced I've gotten away with making great gains with just variety in training techniques and muscle confusion. Others have always told me what to do and when to do it, the will and discipline is there but I aim to broaden my knowledge here so that I can do more effective programming on my own to aim for much more long term goals. The experience you olders guys possess and how in-tune you are with your bodies is quite impressive to say the least.
 
Im not the best in deadlifts and dont really do them all the time . Ive just had too many problems with them (yes probably bad technique & lifting too heavy)

But I want the overall title in all three lifts . So they will be my bread & butter from next month on . It was several yrs ago I did a 425lb dead and I was juicing so Im planning my PL workout for cycle time . Im thinking 600 test-C weekly + 50-60mg tren ace/40mg Tbol daily ...

I don't have many experiences with tren, but personally I think it's severely limited in regards to performance enhancing outside of bodybuilding. I've never competed in a sanctioned PL meet but I've considered I would suspect I'd stick with my tried&true:
dial test back 3-4 weeks out to tighten up
massive amounts of DHT's
huge oral blast leading right into the meet (anadrol/superdrol/winny)
high adex


then just grip and rip til my nose bleeds and pray they have med on standby...

Im thinking the combo might have me superstrong , if I dont self-destruct (plus I still have Tbol & tren ace). I was told to go w/ A-bombs or winny too . I just want that 20% increase I get from gear , I will be training mostly natty w/ some test .

I'm running tren+drol right now and the strength gains have set a new bar for me. I've used both individually but there is def a strong synergy there, only problem is you are lethargic from the Drol during the day and then can't really shut your mind off at night from the tren. Very harsh on the hairline as well which previously hasn't been an issue for me. If all you are gonna do is walk up to the bar and pull some heavy ass weight I have yet to find a stack with as freakish onset of strength increases, but I'm ready to drop the short esters and orals already and just deload.

I feel much much better on just about everything besides this blast, I will stick to winny if I'm running tren in the future. EQ/Npp with the Drol. Never ran TBOL but I know the stuff you ran last year is still around, may give it a whirl next spring

Drol is the strength oral for me. That being said it's much like my experience with superdrol, the lethargy is a bitch, I've not found a way to combat that but the gains exceed my expectations everytime and worth the sides short term in particular instances. 50mg pre workout and I have water retention/fullness the first week, big numbers in week two, week three will blow your socks off but you will really be worn down by then and just ready to be off. I have to take about a 30-45 min cat nap mid day post workout bc I literally left everything on the floor. I have seen guys use 150-200mg+ ED for short blasts but they split the dosing and many times are relying on drugs to combat the lethargy...

For a single event a few weeks out it would be my clear front runner, but that being said winny is still my favorite oral for a reason. I feel good! and the strength gains are great, u can run it longer, and it enhances my wind. Whereas even though Drol is a DHT derivative I react much differently then mast or winny. Drol makes me hold some water, rapid weight gain, doesn't do much for my libido (in comparison to mast/winny), and kinda kills some of my wind and just generally lethargic. It just doesn't react with my body like a DHT. I don't know that I will ever comprehend how I interact with winny the same regardless of oral admin or IM. Yet Masterone and Superdrol, polar opposites, and drol is just some other shit...i don't even know.
