OK - heres my wifes killer Peanut-butter/Oatmeal/Whey protein cookies recipe . Its really just a classic peanut butter/oatmeal cookie recipe with the addition of whey protein and flaxseed meal & wheat germ meal . The meal slows down the absorbtion of sugar and adds fiber . If the cookies are too dry cut back on the meal , not the whey protein . You can also substitute Stevia or other sugar substitutes for a lower glycemic diet. These are around 250 calories a piece and 15 grams of protein . 25 grams of carbs and 10 grams of fat. Enjoy !! :D

~OGH"s Protein Cookies

1 stick real butter * 1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar * 1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup white sugar * 2-1/2 cups quick oats
2 egg * 2 scoops vanilla whey protein
1 tsp vanilla * 1 tbs flaxseed meal
1 cup all-purpose flour *
1 cup peanut butter * 1 tbs wheat germ meal

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl beat butter, sugars w/ electric mixer until creamy.
2. Add eggs and vanilla and peanut butter; beat well.
3. Add combined flour,baking soda,cinnamon,salt,whey protein & meals.Mix well.
4 . Add oatmeal and mix well . Cover bowl with towel and let sit for 15 mins.
5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons unto ungreased cookie sheets .
6. Bake 8-10 min until light golden brown . Cool 1 min on cookie sheets ; remove to wire rack . Cool completely. Makes about 3-4 doz cookies depending on size . I like big ones ! [:o)]

What are your thoughts on these for breakfast on the go? They are delicious and as close to homemade as your going to get. Is 10g of fat too high for one meal?

If you have any problems or questions making these just PM me . We have been making them for 5 years and got them pretty much perfected .

They are actually moister and tastier without the flaxseed & wheat germ meals , but they slow down sugar absorbtion and add valuable fiber . We decided early on we would sacifice some taste & texture for high nutrition .

We sometimes add pecans or walnuts . And chocolate chips around the holidays as gifts . My wife is infamous as the cookie lady . [:o)]

first batch of cookies done a few minutes ago...we left all the stuff in um as well there are very tasty!!!!!:D

Great Paulie - Im impressed ; and play around with the recipe if you want , thats what cookings all about . I think they are as good as the original recipe and theres so much more protein & nutrition in these .

I started off using ON vanilla creme protein but found out the cheaper "Pure Protein" vanilla creme whey protein from Wal-marts made a better cookie . Just dont eat too many or you'll blow a diet with these babies . You can also save them for your carb-up days if your doing Keto-diet . :D

we used the walmart six star as well...works great man...think we will add pecans or walnuts or choco chips next time....thanks again bro and im fixing to pm you

Now you guys dont be fkn with the recipe too much , keep it a little true to itself ,lol. I can see a few of you adding cannabis butter to it , lol. I know who you are . :joint:

Thanks. I did two Kroger and 2 WalMart in my stops. My area isn't particularly health conscious which makes finding anything out of the ordinary difficult. I'll stop by a health food store and try my luck.
