kidding, don't pin more than 3cc. I just did a little project and needed to sterile filter into vials.

I pushed 300cc throw a watman by hand before -- NEVER again.
I took about 3 hours (with a couple short breaks) and white part of my thumb nails were pulled away from the skin underneath about a 1/16th of a inch further down vs when I started. Calk gun is way better than by hand but you have to be carefull not to go to fast or it blows the plunger seal and you leak out the back of the barrel (aging, learned the hard way ).
