I've poked my head in here off and on over the past six months to get a little perspective beyond the peptide-focused forums, but never bothered to join. Think I'm at the point now where I could use some expert help.
Never been a fitness weirdo before. Was athletic in HS a million years ago (water polo, wrestling, swim team), but never kept up with it after the late 80s, and by the time I hit 30 I'd started to lose whatever natural physique I'd previously had. Now: 54 year old man, 5'10", currently 183#, down from 242# mid-January, when my wife got me hooked on reta & tirz. Dropped weight really quickly, but a lot of muscle went with it. Tried to cheat with some high doses of SLU (200mg/day) for a month, which, judging by measurements, may have helped a bit, but didn't exactly make me shredded. Around mid-March, learned about low-dose Ostarine to help with GLP-1 induced muscle loss, started an "anti-aging" dose of HGH (3iu/day), and built a stack for bumping up endogenous test levels -- 25mg enclo/day, 500iu HCG every 3 days, and 500mcg Kisspeptin every 3 days -- which tripled my total test from low 200s to nearly 750, and free test from low-normal to high-normal. Been alternating SLU 100 to 200mg/day for 30 days and Ostarine 5mg/day for 30 days.
Same time I started the Ostarine, HGH, and test stack, I started lifting for the first time in my life, along with my wife and son. First month, we went every 3 days, and just did a single set of 10 to failure, progressive overload -- this was mostly to get us acclimated to the routine. After that first month, we've been going every other day, increased to 3 sets, aiming for failure on the last. Still using the machines at my local rec center -- wanted to start out with something that wouldn't break me if I didn't know what I was doing. Most of the machines kind of force you to have good form, so not much of a learning curve. Might be ready to learn how the big kids do it now, and try out the free weights.
Here's where I started:

And here's where I am now:

I'm pretty damned proud of the progress I've made in less than 6 months, but realize I have a long road still ahead of me. Need to burn the rest of that abdominal fat away and get those latent abs popping, and maybe get a little better pectoral definition. Shooting for 165#, 10-12% body fat -- looking more for the Bruce Lee physique than Terminator, but my frame might not be quite right for that.
Looking forward to soaking up all the accumulated wisdom here.
