One leg (quad) bigger than the other

So my right quad is much bigger than my left. I know, everybody's got some imbalances, but this is pretty bad. Almost 2x the size. It's really only a quad issue. Been trying to address it for probably 6 months but haven't seen any changes. Any tips?

Why is it smaller? What facilitated the abnormality?

Good question. Not really sure. The only thing I could think of is my job? I've been doing landscaping and snow removal since I was 13. Things like shoveling and raking, you're planted on your right foot more.

Half the size of the other is pretty drastic. I've had some difficult with a leg and I'm about 4" bigger on one side. I think that's a big difference.

Honestly, based off what you've said I would say talk to doctor because you might have something wrong and not know it.

So it's not twice as big, I was exaggerating. I had to measure it, it's a 2" maybe slightly less. I guess i shouldn't be complaining. It noticeably bigger, i dont get why.

Any tips on isolating my left leg to bring it up? Exercises?

You could do single leg isolation work prior to your heavier exercises to pre exhaust your smaller leg, obviously not working your larger side prior to your heavier exercises.

Me personally, I thought about making the smaller one bigger for a while but have since said fuck it. I don't care anymore but I am not looking for esthetics
