Re: putting the issue to rest

The info on this Wikipedia article is thoroughly sourced. In fact, just about every sentence has one or more citations to articles in medical journals. I've done plenty of research on AIS, and I can say that the article is solid (I've followed many a lead through medical journals from this article's citations).

The hospital that Sade would be going through for AIS testing does not ordinarily screen for MAIS, just CAIS and PAIS, as these are by far more common (and more concerning). This is why the criteria is focused on ambiguous / female genitalia. However, the hospital is obviously aware that some men with MAIS need testing, which is why at the end of the pdf they state "If the sample does not fulfil all the inclusion criteria and you still feel that testing should be performed please contact the molecular genetics laboratory"

So it's really this simple: if Sade's endocrinologist signs off on the paper, he'll get the test.

It is worth noting that men with MAIS do not have ambiguous genitalia, nor do they have Müllerian structures. Without this exception clause in the PDF, the hospital could not offer testing to any man with MAIS.

I'm making an appointment with him next week. This is it for me. The time is now.

the guy

there is a guy on this other forum who has been blasting 1000 mg+ test for 12 weeks and cruising 250-300 mg test for 4 weeks for 15 years and he has no health problems. Prostate is perfect, lipids are perfect and BP is perfect. How can this be?

Re: the guy

Because he has the supernatural levels of tissue receptors to REQUIRE this amount just to maintain his physique. Else he would shrivel back down to normal human specs....

Sade, you spend too much time trying to justify fukin yurself up!!! WE ARE ALL DIGGIN OUR OWN HOLES ONE DAY AT A TIME.... There aint no one here that isnt...
Why are the excess hormones not hurting him as a co effect of action? Good question. Pehaps BALANCE is the key.. Too much of one and two little of another may equal disaster when if balance is in place, a cell can not be overwhelmed by a particular activity - if you think of it on an individual cell per cell basis. And how can red cells ever go high, when you are comprised of 20% more than your fellow man...? LOL...

But you can rest assured they get whats comming. Moderation is the key to longevity. So they may burn hard and bright for a while. But there are costs. Even Arnold had a pig valve put in his heart.! No one even stepped in to point a nasty finger. What was that pic of Sly in a hospital be next to schartz the other day? I really have my eye on Sylvester because he a is different kind of freak in his ethic I suspect, and has gone much further into the supps with the constant GH. It will be interesting to see what is growing in him. I bet he has already had a ton of stem cell treatments though. I am guessing you will see Arnold back in shape when he works one out for the ticker.. And finally you have Mickey Rourke, Now theres a combination combination. I am not sure, but he may have had cast iron plates installed in his face.. LOL. Def so serious GH abuse...

STILL, the LIVER can only process so much food and the kidneys can only wash so much away. PERIOD.... The bigger ya are. The harder they work... The liver is resilient though and the kidneys dont have to go if taken care of... Who knows... But once they slip they are done to that degree...

what has happened

You all know about my MAIS case and my endo said that he can prescribe Testosterone to guys with T levels at 12.0 nmoI/L (345 ng/dl).

My T and LH levels have been persistently elevated in the year of 2010, and most of 2011 until my last test in September which showed a level of 10.1 (290 ng/dl) but I was still drinking at this time. My latest T came back at 11.9 nmoI/L which is borderline and at (342 ng/dl)

Endo says he can prescribe for anything under 345 ng/dl and my new T levels are at this. Free Test is 10.8 ng/dl on a range of 10 - 25 and crislers scale is (9-30)

Now when I first got that low T reading I was drinking more units than before, from morning to night and was masturbating a lot. I just haven't a clue whats happened with my case. M T levels were always high with elevated LH levels and DHT, Free T, Bio available T over the referenc range as well as free androgen index. But now everythings changed.

My T and Free T are both low and LH has dropped to into the normal range. Does anyone know what could have happened? This occured in 6 months from my march test where my T was 764 ng/dl and LH at 13.0 to September while I was still drinking at this point very heavily to 290 ng/dl.

290 ng/dl and 342 ng/dl are my latest T results. Oh and my E2 used to be at 50 in us units and it's dropped to 13.

Re: what has happened

Free Test would now be 3.38 ng/dl on a range of (9-30) or (10-25)
My shbg has stayed high. HDL Cholesterol has stayed high.

Whats interesting is how, if the low T sticks, the cessation of alcohol resulted in an apparent drop in testosterone. I wonder if the alcohol contributed to the early stages of testicular failure which then resulted in the pituitary sending out massive LH pulses to compensate.

I was still drinking in September more than I've ever drunk before then got tested a night after heavy boozing and T was low. And it's stayed like this since. I just don't understand.

Re: what has happened

Man you are crazy.Be relax.Did you use HCG or Nolvadex etc in the past? This would give you very high levels also

I'm not sure man. Never took those for year. Ive been diagnosed with MAIS and my last endo even said that mayber I do need higher levels of Testosterone but if they're now low would a normal TRT prescription push them back to normal? There is no way they will put me on 250 - 300mg T a week. If I do have AIS then would I need levels well into the thousands.

Re: what has happened

That's the thing though. There is no way what so ever that they'll put me on a high dose test. No chance. It's the NHS they have to stick to guidelines. My natural levels have been as high as 879 ng/dl along with the high LH mind you but I never felt anything on that. Free Test has been at 34.4 on a range of up to 27.0 being max, I was well over that and felt nothing. bioavailbe T with Dr Crisler I was over top range and LH was 11.4 at the same time. I felt nothing. Even then I got blood testes in the afternoon and my T level was 644. I just don't understand whats going on.

Two years I've been on this forum trying to find out why my T levels were persistently elevated and other hormones DHT etc... over range and now this happens. It only took 6 months.

Professor Ross my old end tested me at the end of march and T was 760 while LH was 13.0 at same time but then 6 months later the T level is fucking 290 with an LH of 6.1.:confused::confused:

Alcohol couldn't have done this could it? Lowered my T. I just don't understand what the fuck is going on anymore. Normal TRT will only increase my levels to where I've already had them in the upper normal range.

Re: what has happened

Man you are a human not robot.Your levels wont be same everytime.

Yeah but ever since I came off almost 7 years ago doctors told me my levels were higher than normal. Fast forward 5 years I met this girl and wouldn't fuck her because I couldn't. I decided to get off SSRI's and to sort this out. Levels were elevated and so was LH but now LH has dropped to 4.4 and T is 290 and 340. My last doctor said I needed a higher level of T but if my T is now low then supplementary T won't work. I have to shut myself down with high doses like 250 - 300 mg a week.

Re: doctors

Thankfully, I didn't waste a lot of money but I did burn a lot of time with doctors that promised more than they could deliver.
