I am currently looking to shed some body fat overall, most obviously on my midsection. I have implemented cardio sessions beginning at 3 25 minute sessions a week and would like to work up to four or so 30 mins a week sessions.
I am currently around 12-15% body fat (haven't been tested in a while so guest mating). The cardio I have been doing is mainly bike or elliptical machine (due to a recent ankle injury that is still recovering.
It seems I have gotten the best workout so far by keeping my heart rate around 165. Is this too low? too high?
I am still taking in a considerable amount of calories (aprox 3000) as I don't want to hurt muscle gain in my training program.
