Ooh, boxer eh?Orangejuicer said:Well, I looked a lot for a hydrostatic weighing facility in highschool when I was a fighter, and it's like looking for needle in an empty bowl. It's basically impossible(for me at least) to find one. Luckily, my school has a very large and accredited Excercise physiology program, so we were able to use the equipment for free. We did not have an airvolume flow device, which makes it basically impossible to know what your lung air volume is, but there's an equation the assitant used to see what volume of air should be left in my lungs after complete expulsion.....Bla Bla Bla it's pretty accurate but expensive and hard to find. I'll bet any local university will have the setup and rents it out. If not, those piezo scales work rather well iwithin 5 or 6 percent. They are pricy though, one of my roomates is a boxer, otherwise I would never have one at my disposal. Best of luck.
boxing is hella fun.
The local university here usually charges 50 bucks to use theirs, so it's not too bad for accuracy to the .0 percentage.
