Ordering over the net without getting into sh**

I have made a couple of orders over the net to my address with no issues to date. I am new to this site but have spent much time on many others. I like the fact that there is a legal forum on this site because it has always been a concern of mine about avoiding run in with LE. Anyway my question is if I order again over the net what is the best way to avoid drawing attention? Do they always send you a letter the first time the intercept a pack to your address? or do they sometimes make controlled deliveries the first time? Is it better to order big and stock up or go small orders? I have no interest in selling any I just want to be able to use it for myself. My source has been very discreet about shipping so far it looks like a book when it comes. Is it better to not answer the door when it is delivered to the house and go pick it up at the post office? Any tips ???

I would never sign for any package that comes to your home, if your expecting a order, and it has not come in your mailbox, do not sign for anything, that is considered making a puchase,
if you dont sign for it they cant prove you odered(unless they have a search order and take your computer) or (try and track your WU transactions but if there onto you that bad your fucked anyway). back to signing for it, if you dont sign for it , it could be a miss mailed item.

Use your head, be careful, know your local laws and the others that concern your actions. if something seems abnormal then it probably is. If your shipment is held up, then it's a flag. The best idea is to ship it elsewhere and then pick it up. Always trust your gut!

This issue was discussed in another post earlier this month and I believe the consensus was regardless of address chosen for delivery (PO box, your home, neighbors pad or the dog house), it should be mailed USING A FACTITIOUS NAME!

In my state they won't deliver mail to an address if the last name isn't on the mailbox. Make sure you know how your post office handles this, otherwise they might return to sender. It's happened to me with regular mail. I had to inquire to figure out why they weren't delivering...no last name on mailbox. It's ridiculous.

Per the question about the letter, I suspect it depends on the size of an order. Smaller more frequent orders increase your risk of interception. Larger orders increase your risk of LE taking action if your order is seized. If you can find a domestic source, this is best.

In my case, it doesn’t really matter. I use a different name and address for every order I place - even with the same UGL, unless it is a known and trusted source that I have used for a period of time. Actually this is a little more risk for the UGL.

Although not everyone can use a different address, a different name at least is a no brainer. Disputes arise on the Internet, especially if you rate a source negatively. I don’t want my name and address posted for LE to see.

Another option is a remailer (TA is a little longer), or a PO BOX.

Good trusted private sources are the best, but harder to come by. - you don't want to burn those bridges putting em at risk.

Good points.

Just FYI for everyone though. Post masters are trained to check for certain "red flags" which include: handwritten labels. mailing from zip codes which differ from the return address, and mailing to a name which cannot be associated with the destination address. So, if you are lucky enough to have someone who will receive packs for you, you're wise to make sure the name you use can be associated with this address. ie...a magazine subscription or the like.

I'm a fan of PO boxes. You can let the package sit as long as you want, the odds of LE waiting around the clock for days on end for you to pick up a package with 4 vials is practically non-existent.

I always make sure to confirm that the source doesn't require a signature before I place an order. If the post office ever refused to leave it I would just burn the address and move on.

I have legal things from eBay sent to my po box using just my initials - PO never complains including when it doesn't fit in the box and I have to go to a clerk. Not sure if this circumvents anything....I'd guess three letter initials are a little less incriminating....well maybe not much :)

Ex. Tom Allen Parker would be:

TAP
PO Box 1234

I put my real name if you put some random name on your package to your house or p.o it will seem suspicious. Make it seem like its a regular mail. Don't make it so complicated.

Agreed. I either use fake initials, or some sort of alias I'm only known as online. Ebay, and other person to person sales via online have made full name alternatives a lot more popular. Here in rural, middle of nowhere America, I've had absolutely no issue with receiving anything as long as the address is correct. I also have my packages sent to a family member, who obviously doesn't use, i.e widowed grandmother.
