Over 40 experiences

:) thanks....

As for your "what do you take" question... unfortunately I take it all. I never exceed 1 gram of gear per week though even on heaviest blasts. I still play with orals. Last I ran tren was maybe 18 months ago though never again. I do not advise being stupid like yours truly, but so far so good.... although I have to eat Telmisartan like it's candy.
I'm already on 100mg Losartan so I gotta be careful!

AAS is way different over 40. I find the eating in a surplus for 12-14 weeks to be actually quite hard, eating clean of course it just gets rough and there is just a point where chicken gets old. Cutting on the other hand I’m quite good at.

At this age test, mast, primo and maybe a little bit of NPP or Deca seem to be on the relatively safeish list. I’m an old school cycle guy who comes off in full after a 12 week run so it’s a bit harder to relate to all the blast and cruise discussions, I do like low test and higher mast or primo combo with GH. I have a colleague who is 48 and runs about 400mg of npp/mast/primo a week but he is a blast and cruise guy; although the more we share it seems like he might be on a permanent blast

I mainly worry about BP so telmisartan and a sizable pile of BP supplements keep things under 140/70. It’s just a bit freaky because I’m normally 110/70 and on cycle get to 150/80 easy. Hair is a minor worry on primo or mast but I’m not genetically predisposed to MPB so just some keto shampoo seems to work.

Definitely ment hit 150 mg test to get my total T around 1100 and run that for a while.

Maybe blast with prop twice a year at 150 md EOD x 6-8 weeks each time

With everything I've read coupled with everyone's comments on it, I'm definitely gonna try some primo. Probably just do it with test and see how it goes. Thanks for your comment! That's also a very nice collection of GL ducks you have there!

Test, Mast, Primo, GH, Proviron here and there. Blood work is always good on these compounds. Anavar wrecks lipids at even just 20mg per day.

46 year old male. I've been working out since my teens. I tried a couple cycles during my twenties with minimal results. Pretty sure the stuff I got was fake except for some Anadrol which swelled me up like a tick! I always wanted to try different things but the area I'm from it was pretty much impossible to get anything. I've recently got on trt but my doc will only prescribe one shot a month, which got me researching and finding my way here around 6 months ago. I've since ordered my own and I take 125 mg once a week and I'm loving it so far. It seems like aas and pretty much everything for that matter is so easy to get now, it makes me curious to try some things I always wanted to. My main concern though is my age and a little high blood pressure that I take medicine for. I would love to hear about others personal experiences with anabolics over the age of 40. Whether it's, hell yeah let's do it or, stay the hell away it's not worth it and everything in between. What's everyone's opinion? What do you take. What do you worry about? Anything would be appreciated!

Diet, cardio and rest are more important than anything when you're older like us. Provided those are in check, smaller amounts like 200-400 a week can have a major, positive impact. Pending your preferences, the biggest problem is finding a reliable, long term source, that doesn't insist on the crypto nonsense. Good luck.

LMAO @ "crypto nonsense"

I can tell I'm in an over-40 thread

47 tomorrow. I’m on telemasartan 80 and 12.5 hctz. What “supplements do you uses to control bp. Min is good under 140. Untill I hit the prework out and then it’s up

This is my lineup and they work marginally well. If my diet is in check. Telmisartan does more though. In bulk phase it’s just higher BP till I start cutting.

I just met yesterday with my new cardiologist... dude was amazing. Did a full work up, did an ECG, ordered an ultrasound and did a deep dive on my blood pressure. I've been on Telmisartan/Amlodipine 40/5 for a while but it's had me at around 135/80 on average which I do not feel is ideal long term and neither did he. I would say "under 140" is probably not ideal for you either unless that means you're regularly actually under 130. Long term that is stress on your system.

He switch me over to Losartan with a moderate twice-daily dose (AM/PM). Which is nice, cause that stuff is like WAAAAY cheaper than the stuff I was taking before. Kinda stoked for the ultrasound.

46 and still compete. 40 Telmisartan a day keeps the blood pressure good. Also just normal doses nothing special my bulks are 500 sust and 300 deca. Prep is pretty much 300 test, mast, teen Easy on the clen and bam peeled.

40mg telmisartan can get my bp down to 110/70 even gets me to 100/60 if I'm religious with my cardio, this is on cycle with low dose tren.

However, if my diet is loose, high sodium and crap food like chips for 2 days and boom 140/90 and resting heart rate of 100 plus.

Anyone else experience this? Diet affects their bp more than gear.

Yes, I ate chips and fried shrimp and it was 140/85, normally I’m 120/70 on 40mg telmisartan

52 y old, 2 short (8 weeks) blast each year (500 test 225 tren week, 40 mg day var), then REAL trt (20 mg TE every other day subQ, around 70 mg week). Always 2 x 300 ui hcg to avoid shrinkage.
