Was wondering if I could get info on oxytocin doses and protocols? Anyone have experience with it and what was it like? I’ve heard it makes sex feel better is that true and how if so how?

to elaborate...

Cortisol generally reduces the rate of lipolysis, which is the breakdown of fats, and decreases the sensitivity of fat cells to lipolytic hormones like epinephrine. This means that while cortisol can promote fat storage, it also has complex effects on fat metabolism. It can also increase water retention by promoting sodium absorption and water retention in the kidneys, leading to swelling and fluid buildup in the body. Elevated cortisol levels, often due to stress, can also trigger the release of hormones that further contribute to fluid retention.

Theory:

Low-dose intranasal oxytocin may help modulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, which can indirectly inhibit the release of cortisol.

Theoretical application:

During a competition prep, oxytocin could potentially help manage cortisol levels and reduce stress, aiding in fat loss and minimizing water retention. Use nasal spray at a 100-400mcg dose once daily. Start using in the final 2 months before peak week, monitoring for water retention, and taper off 1-2 weeks before the competition to stabilize hormone levels.

precautions:

Stick to the low suggested dose to avoid water intoxication, as high doses carry increased risk.
(Documented cases of water intoxication are mostly from high dose I.V. usage over prolonged periods.)

in hindsight it would be more logical to continue using it up to and on the day of the competition, to maintain lower cortisol levels and minimize water retention. Stopping it's use could lead to fluctuations in cortisol and increased stress, causing a rebound which may negatively impact body composition.

Wife and I tried it a few times before sexy time.

Didn't feel a thing other than serious flushing for the first 30min
