Path to a 500 wilks

Weight today was 205.0

Workout was,

2x10 cambered squat bar squats
X3 conventional deads @ 495
4x3 speed conventional deads
2x6 sumo rdls
3x5 pendlay rows
5x20 straight arm pulldowns

Conventional deads were surprisingly easy considering I've been a gay man puller for awhile now. Lol. I always liked conventional deads but it's too hard to manage lower back fatigue with them.

Tried my heeled shoes on again. Squat instantly felt way stronger. Lol.
Using your woman's stiletto heel shoes for training again? Lmao jk.

Keep grinding as spring's on its way so hang in there!

Meal 6. 360ml fairlife milk, whey protein, outright bar

Do you use fresh or frozen vegetables for your meal prepping?

At what weight do you start using straps for deadlifting or other exercises?

Basically any vegetables I eat are fresh except peas.

I'm not using straps ATM. I was using them on volume sets just so I could go double overhand and reduce the risk of a tear.
I'm in the same boat, frozen peas only. I am considering getting more frozen veggies for my upcoming cut starting in 2 months though, just for convenience purposes. Not entirely sure, I'll have to see where I end up with it. Might at least give it a try for a few weeks.

Good to know! I only do overhand for deadlift as the twisting is horrible for you IMO. I do use straps above 400 lbs though

Weight today was 205.8

Workout was,

2x10 bradford press
2x6 paused yukon bar bench
2x15 inverted rows
5x12 paused barbell tricep extensions

Still feeling pretty good. Gonna keep slowly building up. Plan to peak around 225 mid may. If I can stay injury free there should be some easy prs

Are your hips just beat up?

I'm definitely still stronger sumo. I'm guessing I could still do around 600 conventional though.

I've been squatting and deadlifting 3-4 weeks now and good so far. And yeah, I pulled a fairly difficult 585x1 the other day after doing 500x12 the week before, so I'd say more rested I'm still around 600lbs conventional.
