PCOS any way to lower T besides birth control?

My sister has PCOS and says birth control gives her heart palpitations or something. That is the most common treatment so what I'm wondering is if there is anything to lower Testosterone. The research I've done all seems that testosterone is much harder to control than estrogen where you can simply take an AI or SERM.

I believe Aldactone/ Spironolactone is a drug that can help in lowering androgens and women get it prescribed for PCOS.

I wouldn't play with any compounds such as Nolva, Arimidex or Aromasin if she's not experienced user... they can get a woman to rebound quite heavily once she stops if not used properly.
