PES syringe filters

Found a local lab supplier selling 30mm 0.22um PES syringe filters for a bargain price, I have been reading negative opinions about this kind of membrane in the regards of AAS brewing, and it also seems the polyethersulfone is not resistant to Benzyl Alcohol.

What your take on PES filters? Any bad experience to share?

PES is not resistant , will be destroyed by BA/BB in while.
Nylon or PTFE membranes are good.

The specs relate to resistance ( or not ) to specific compounds/solvents run at 100% through the filter. So using a PES to filter brewed oil with 2% Benzyl Alcohol etc won't dissolve the filter instantly - but it isn't really suitable for anything other than maybe a few vials worth. I purchased some Pal Acrodisc PES syringe filters mistakenly but seeing as I'm just refiltering a few Ugl vials for myself they should suffice. But if you haven't purchased yet - just do yourself a favour & get the correct ones!

It's ok I've purchased a bunch of PVDF and PTFE filters instead, thanks for the answers.
