Sit the vials in a pot of water just below the cap and heat it up.. Once the gears melting point is reached it will clear up. Sometimes people stick a needle in to vent the pressure but I don't find that necessary.

You can use a bunch of different methods. The ones listed above are good too.

You can also take a bowl of dry rice, nuke it in the microwave and set your vial in it.
