This might be a little redneck. You can actaully go buy pins from your local tractor supply/ feed and seed. They have all kinds and sizes. For vet use only LOL. Pretty cheap too. Thought you Bros might find it helpful.

proken said:Pins tensil strength is a third as huma, go ahead, bust one off in your ars. Also, they are no where near as sharp, there are two grades of sharpness, human and animal, go on get some scar tissue going too. Oh, I forgot to mention the insectisides that sat on top of them in the truck when they arrived. This is an old discussion, Cattle pins are far inferior and you are taking a great risk by even thinking about it. May as well just buy one, hell, it'll last till it breaks.[/QUOT
Granted bro they be weaker, but have you noticed that cow hides are way thicker then the skin on your ass? If I can take a pin meant for little porker or betsy and it will not break off in them, we should be ok. Pesticdes/insectisides?????? Bro they come packed in plastic from the factory Its not like Billy Bob loaded up a rusty old bucket fulla pins and drove though a god damn field while it was being crop dusted. But all in all you have a pretty good point. My wife is a nurse and she said they are the same. Who knows when I break one in my ass I will let ya know.
