PIP/bad swelling

So around 3 or 4 days ago I injected 2ml of sustanon. That was my first time using sustanon and before that i had only injected 1ml at a time. I think I forced the oil in too quickly because afterwards the injection side kind of hurt which usually doesn't happen until the next day. For the past few days I've had a very swollen area much larger than the injection site and it's very painful to touch and I can't lie down on that side. The swelling doesn't seem to have gone down much if at all since then but it isn't red and I don't have a fever or anything so I don't think it's an abscess but I'm not sure. Maybe a sterile abscess? Does it make sense that this would happen just from injecting more than I usually inject and forcing it in somewhat quickly?

Ibuprofen to reduce the swelling. I was bedridden for two days in one of my virgin-muscle runs. Couldn't even pull my jeans on. Sust is a bastard as well - the multi estered ones are killers.

So the multi ester compounds are more painful? Why is that?

Without going into a long winded explanation, different esters have different solvents, crystals, concentration and melting points. The shorter the ester and higher the concentration, the more it hurts. Your injection technique and whether it's virgin muscle or not can compound the pain.

A multi-estered compound brings different crystal for the body to process, has various melting points, use different solvents and often carry different concentration: Pain Factor * 1 + Pain Factor * 1 = Pain Factor * 2

Go and try Omnadren and you'll learn about pain lol.

Longer esters hurt less. Water based compounds can sting upon injection but seldom cause PIP the way we know it

I probably would not inject 2 ml in one spot... spread it out. I usually massage the site for a couple of mins after to kinda spread the oil..
I've had excruciating PIP in the past and hate em..
NSAID's every 4-6 hrs should help.

Good post but can't agree with the last statement.

How come you wouldn't inject 2ml in one spot? That's honestly an average to small amount. If you're getting a lot of pip from that size injection, I would look into your technique or gear as the issue... not the volume in the syringe

Sit on a heatpad when your home and when your on the go use icy hot, that should take the swelling down.

As long as its not red you should be fine but if its still swollen like this in a couple days I would see a doctor.

true I do 2ml in my shoulder all the time and no PIP but I brew my own gear so of course it's the best ;)

3ml in quads easy but not same spot more than 2 weeks with that much volume .. shoulders every week each side no problem with 2ml
