I am thinking pistons will win also now. Malone is hurt and from the looks of it payton is completely done. Jackson might have to go with the younguns to whip that ball around and let shaq carry them. Shaq needs to touch the ball every single possesion for lakers to have a chance. Kobe needs to concentrate on defense and passing. Let rush and fisher get some 3's, assists, and d- up on the pistons. Only shot. Dont think jackson will do that so i am writing the lakers off

Lakers have been out played every game so far with the exception of O.T. in game 2. Sorry but the excuse of "The Laker's are playing awful" is getting lame. How can you be so great and get your ass handed to you 3 games in a row? Hmmm.... Maybe because Detroit is a great team with killer defense. They need to pick it up in the NEXT game, not the next few games. There are only four games left and they need to win three of those. If they lose game four, and they probably will, they're done. And not just for this season...they'll be done for good.

try not having to play anyone until the finals. You can see how fresh they are. I would like to see detroit take out houston, san antonio, and minnesota. Wouldnt happen. Not making excuses b/c the lakers have been injured and lazy all year. They havent jelled as VDC has pointed out. If the lakers do win it all than it wont be pretty basketball. They just arent that good right now. If they dont get more desire and a second wind than the series is over

Bill: "The Blazers are playing horribly, they are getting shut down, their offense is not producing at all." Other commentator: "They're up by five, what are you talking about?" I have to agree. Laker's suck, they ar too caught up in their arrogance to see it. Did you see the look on their faces as they lost? I have to say that the series is over and I am very proud of the Pistons. Even if the Lakers were able to win the game tomorrow, they have to pull off the next two after that. They way they have been playing, I just can't see that happening. The time has come to let someone else have a championship ring and the Pistons are the team to do it.

They have played all year with a light switch. Turning it on when they needed to. The road they traveled to get to the finals caused them to run out of electricity. They keep flipping the switch and nothing is there. They really are not that good of team right now. They are out of gas and detroit is pounding them. Lakers would be better off w/o kobe.
