Pitavastatin+Bempedoic acid+Ezetimbe really works well.

Recent lab work:

The March 25 labs are pre-cycle. The Oct 25 labs are 5 week into a cycle of 400mg Test, 300mg Deca, 400mg Mast per week with a bit of Dbol thrown in for good measure.

The Nov 25 labs are 4 weeks later with 600mg Test, 450mg Deca, 400mg Mast per week with a bit of Anadrol tossed in. The difference is immediately after the Oct lab I started: Pitavastatin 2mg eod, Ezetimbe 5mg eod, Bempedoic Acid 90mg eod. Half pills and every other day dosing still dropped it this much.

After the Nov labs I've changed to daily dosing, but still half pills. Can't wait to see what happens for the Dec labs.

Wouldn’t expect so from that combo tbh, but I guess we’ll let OP tell it.

Maybe less joint pain from dramatically lower systemic inflammation….
I ask mainly because people are different… im on ezet and it kills my stomach… and thats a known side effect… i havent touched my bp acid or the statin yet…

Any sides from any of it??
None at all. Was kinda my intent with the half dose eod anyway. Now I know how well it takes out the lipids while I'm on a blast at the lowest dose. I've upped it to half dose every day, and if I get sides - I still might put up with them while on a blast - but I doubt I would have to when I go back to my trt cruise.

That would be nice. Don't really have a lot of joint pains anyway - except for my left acetabulum that I fractured back in February. And the pain from that has been on a steady decrease as time marches on - haven't noticed it being reduced at a faster rate from either the lipid meds or the deca. But if either is helping - more power to it.

You have a prescription for the Bemp? Last I checked it was a little pricey... at least more than the Pita/Ezetimbe core.
India for all of it.

Both my PCP and my cardiologist were 'happy' with my numbers back in March. And back then I didn't know as much about it as I do now. When I brought up going on a statin to my PCP in Sept, he said he'd rather defer to what the cardiologist wanted. I have a calcium ct scan next month, and then a follow up to the cardiologist in January. I'll try to get him to go with what I got going now when I see him.

It might be hard anyway - my insurance formulary excludes pitavastatin - not even 'need a prior auth', but full on - "no". Obviously that's stupid and it hasn't been updated since pita got a generic - but still, I'll have to fight with them over that.

Doesn't matter to me - I'll buy it India if I need to. If I can get a Rx, I'll use it - and if my Insurance balks - I'll fill at least one fill of it using GoodRx or something and have a 'legal script' to sit next to my India pharms.

Check the 2026 formulary (usually can just google plan name “formulary 2026”) for your plan, a lot have caught on to the new generic status of pita

Lol. Nope. Still excluded. They'd cover Repatha with a $30 co-pay though.

I'll still try when it comes to it though - as they only list Livalo and Zypitamag as excluded - and pita is not listed at all.

Pita 4 x 90 is $55 delivered from costplusdrugs , close to India prices, as another option.

Of course Repatha is the holy grail. If you can fake statin intolerance to get that (with the copay card from Repatha.com it’s only $25 / for 3 months), then you can add Pitavastatin + eze back in (they won’t take Repatha away once approved) for the ultimate lipid stack.

Guess I'm just poor or bad at math... both. Last time I calculated Bemp from PCT it was over $100/month if I remember correctly. Coming up on three months of Pravastatin and Ezetimibe and have had very good results but ordered Pita recently from PCT and will be switching very soon after finishing out three solid months. No idea how I forgot to add Ezetimibe to my order so will have to get that via Telyrx or elsewhere in order to continue. Not a huge deal but just annoying when I bought quite a bit more and simply forgot. Way, way cheaper with PCT. I think the Bemp was a lot cheaper if you bought it as a combo with Ezetimibe but it still worked out a bit more than I wanted to commit. Not really giving my lipids a good environment having run Tren 12 weeks and then immediately hopped on Anavar afterwards. They were still remarkably good even on the Tren, though, with exception to HDL being 35. I posted this before after being in Prava, Niacin ER (was dropped a few weeks ago), and Eze for six weeks or so... while on Tren. The "before" labs were pretty bad, too. Great stuff. Zero sides. Completely overblown fear of myalgia in my case.

I’ve been hitting the pita 4 and ezet for a few months now and can’t wait to see my next report card :)

Zone has the combo Bempe/Ez for $4.90/10. Looks like they're out of stock of the straight Bempe's at $4.25/10.

x7 is a bit spendier.

But even then - combo pills if you like the dose run ya $15/month.

I ran my first month at half a pill eod - so that was $3.25. Now I'm still half a pill, but every day - so it's costing me $7.50 month for Bempe.

Ezetimbe is about the same price - so $15 a month. Or $7.50 the way I dosing now.

Pita is the pricier one at $8.24/10. So $25/month. It cost me $6.50 my first month and now it's running me $13.

Full dosing - $55/month, half dosing $27.50, half eod $13.75

Everyone has their own price point, of course - but the numbers I just got - while running a gram of gear - for a grand total of under $15 for the month? I'm ok with that.

That’s not bad at all. Ezetimibe will get you the rest of the way.

I’m not on Bemp, the warnings on tendons concern me for very long term use.

The statin myalgia paranoia is very real, but not entirely misplaced depending on which statin it is. Prava is the next lowest rate of it to Pita.

Do you have Lp(a)? That loses significance as LDL drops. But unless LDL is below 30, high Lp(a) is still a concern.

For anyone who needs it, and you’re more of a 500-1000 at a time stock up type, my Indian wholesaler has

Pivasta 4mg x 1000 $420 (Zydus Pita, same as US Zypitamag). That’s $38/90, better than costplusdrugs $50)

PTVS DUO 4/10 x 1000 $425 (Pita 4/Eze 10 combo)

Zetiheal 10mg x 1000 $96

Etc.

DM if you want his info. As long as you’re buying by the box (usually 100 tabs) no one is cheaper than him and he can get anything available (I mean normal pharma, including TRT, but not the sketchy controlled pain meds etc).

I think you have mentioned before but what's the persons reship policy?

Is the statin intolerance just something your MD has to document? Or do you just need an MD to prescribe it for you? My PCP is very supportive and has played ball with my requests thus far. If he were to prescribe it and I were to obtain the copay card, is there anything else we need to do? Like does he have to sit through a painful P/A with the insurance company?

Also, any hacks for bemp acid cost? I see there is a $10 copay card on Good Rx...
