God damn. With 177 LDL the only thing keeping you alive might be the heat of all that rotting cholesterol within the massive necrotic core you’ve built in your arteries…..

(Yes; sharp cholesterol crystals forming in highly concentrated plaque, that literally stab the hell out of your arterial walls with each heartbeat is real).

I’m here to fuel the nightmares about the horrors you didn’t even know you should be worrying about :)

All hope isn’t lost!

When LDL is kept very low for a long time, most of the crystals will dissolve. Any remaining will eventually get trapped in “stone tombs” as plaque that can’t be removed converts to the stable, calcified form. Also, statins, asprin, all straight Everclear and have cholesterol crystal dissolving properties:

Will D3 help with this kind of crystals/plaque?
Or is it more effective for the plaque that has not hardened yet, and gets loose sooner?

man if it weren’t for these posts i wouldn’t be lowering ldl so aggressively. atleast we know now that a polypharmacy approach with the best of the best meds can work alongside lifestyle management. its no longer the end of the world because there is a lot less misinformation. these posts definitely help those who listen drastically, whether they’re on PEDs or not.

I’m just channeling what the entire worldwide body of experts on cardiovascular disease are basically screaming from the rooftops about. The good news is, no matter how long it’s been ignored, unless you’re already symptomatic, heading downhill with stents and surgeries, taking strong action to get lipids as low as possible can almost immediately (within weeks) stop any progression and drop risk by a huge amount (60%+). Maintain those low levels and you’ll reverse some damage, and stabilize the situation so going forward risk drops lower and lower over time.

Kids born today won’t have this problem. It’ll be solved by the time they’re adults, probably with a single injection. So you either get with the program and save your own life from the #1 cause of death, or be one of the last victims of a historical disease on the verge of extinction, like the black plaque or smallpox.

Also a total game changer for PED users if they aren’t so fucking stupid as to keep avoiding statins and other lipid lowering meds.

there’s a lot of misunderstanding surrounding these topics though. for example although this is an extreme example, i took red yeast rice because it was commonly recommended as a slip through way to instantly get a statin otc.

come to find out it’s pretty much equivalent to lovastatin, which is clinically outdated because of its side effects. i noticed this myself, no joke i felt it instantly, muscle weakness even at 2 caps a day.

not everyone has access to information such as a chart showing, hey, if you take this newer statin, it’ll deplete less coq10, have less muscle side effects, etc. so they just throw the idea away altogether.

tldr: sometimes, can you even blame them?
