Funny you mention Floyd. He'll be about 3 weeks from his birthday. A date he actually shares with Charlie Kirk. Both coincidentally died due to complications of injury secondary to foreign objects making contact with their necks
One was a good human being who had a family, the other a career criminal who shoved a gun into a pregnant woman's gut. I feel for the cop that had to go to jail for that...but it was interesting to watch the left burn their own cities on fox news.

Charlie's murder was horrific. Whether the killer is a leftie or not is up for debate: He appears to have been gay and in a relationship with a transgender person. His family, composed of conservatives, says he had become more left-wing recently. However, the others who knew him say that he had little interest in politics. The killer was raised with people who loved guns. The killer was able to carry the firearm openly because Utah's laws allow that. That means if the killer had been spotted on the roof with a firearm, no one would have done anything. I know Charlie Kirk was firmly against any forms of gun control. Right now, conservatives are complaining about liberals in general because the MAGA crowd likes to blame others. Every now and then a left wing politician is killed by a right-winger. Generally speaking, politics is not usually much implicated in killings of those involved with politics in the US. I disagreed with many of Charlie's views, although I agreed with some of them. I'm not going to criticize Charlie's views here because I'm upset that he's not still alive: Were Charlie still alive, I'd love to criticize him. I disagree with the small number of liberals who think Charlie Kirk's killing was good. However, folks who think like that are only a small minority.SORRY; He was killed in Utah. You wrote about free speech. However, I note many recent conservative attempts in the name of free speech to suppress liberal speech. I will not claim that liberals don't often try to shut up conservatives; they do. America could use more speech speech and free thought. I do appreciate Charlie Kirk's willingness to go to progressive locations and to contradict the orthodoxy. He did so while being willing to engage his "opponents." It is sad that his honorable attempts to spread his views were met violently. Acts like this are bad for democracy. I condemn them on both moral and practical grounds.
While I see many differences between the killings, I viewed both people as having died due to murder.
Trump's behavior is actually more like Marxism than that of Biden. Trump wants pretty much everything about government to be approved by the President. I support free market economics. Yet hating Marxists is not sufficient. Rather it's more important to actually apply free market economics.

Biden didn't make it mandatory to get a shot. Plenty of people didn't get shots. Florida made it illegal for companies to require folks get vaccinated. That type of restriction on what private employer can require is the type of thing that Marxists approve of.

She did exert pressure on medical organizations to produce guidelines that essentially favored transition. To the best of my understanding, there is very little good scientific information on this issue at the present time.
As to undocumented aliens being a drain on taxpayers, it's simply not true. They work. They pay Social Security, often with another person's Social Security card. But the system gets funded and they don't Social Security in return. Undocumented aliens receive few public services. You seem to be unaware that undocumented aliens working in the US do pay taxes. Mexican immigrants, whether illegal or legal, are less likely to be unemployed than White Americans. I had some major disagreements with Biden on immigration, particularly with the idea that folks with weak claims of asylum could stay in the country for years. However, I do believe that America is a nation of immigrants and generally does better with immigrants. Immigrants take jobs. Immigrants also create jobs.
